I sure hope Howie gets back on the air here soon. The afternoons just aren't the same without him.
Why don't you listen to him on the computer?
I moved to NC from the north shore of Boston about 1 year ago. The few things that I miss are, taking the train to Bruins/Redsox games, sports talk radio, The North End, and Howie Carr. Thank goodness for the internet. Everyday in the office, Howie is on.
I do when I am at home but afternoons are largely spent shuttling kids hither and yon.
I heard Howie had Duncan Hunter on yestrday. How did that go?

I don't really like Howie when he goes on heartlessly about animals. I'm too much of an animal lover -- don't know how Sandy stands it.
I believe Sandy twisted the head off a pet bird. But I don't think she taped it back on and sold it to a blind kid.

I don't remember the details (probably blocked them out), but I believe she finished off a bird that was fatally hurt anyway.
