Washington, D.C. (AHN) - Republican presidential contender and former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani has scored a sizable victory in securing the current Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican party to kickstart his campaign in the state with the first political primary.
Giuliani picked up Wayne Semprini, who has been involved with the GOP in the Granite State since 1972.
Semprini says, "It appears to me that Mayor Giuliani is not a guy who does anything part way. He's someone who is very, very thorough. I don't think he'll make his total announcement until he's had an opportunity to look at all those angles and share all those angles with his wife, Judith."
However, he adds, "We picked up a lot of supporters this weekend," after making speeches across the state.
According to CNN, Giuliani has also hired some other big names in New Hampshire, such as veteran GOP activist David Tille and Chris Wood, a veteran of Steve Forbes' and Pat Buchanan's campaigns.
Ladies and Gentlemen, "The Mayor of the United States"
This will only happen if Hillary should somehow not secure
the nomination.
EEE, I was watching PMSNBC earlier (FOX was in a commercial break) and I could swear they are reading the FR forums on Guiliani.
They report that Republicans are still debating "Who is the conservative?" as opposed to "Who is electable?".
We really do need a conservative to rally behind and I still want to hear what all of the candidates have to say.
Bet they won't recruiting the OK Chair -- I know I wouldn't after we lost all but one statewide race.
BUMP
