Sutton said that the drug dealer had to be let off because he couldn't be identified, yet he says that he was close enough that the agents tried to hit him with the butt of a shotgun. Sutton's story doesn't make sense!
I agree that Sutton makes no sense. Scary that someone like him is in such a powerful position.
I bet, due to the publicity, Nifong Sutton is worried about another butt ---- his own.
There seems to be more and more details of Sutton's handling of this case coming out that just doesn't pass the smell or honesty test, IMHO. Sounds like he has been at the job too long and he isn't used to anyone questioning his methods in obtaining convictions no matter what the evidence may or may not show.
