Death Threats Against Anani: A Prelude to Upcoming Michigan Event
Three Former Terrorists to Speak on World's Greatest Threat
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire- USNewswire/ -- Three former terrorists will give "Terrorism: The World's Greatest Threat" presentation at University of Michigan event:
WHO: Three Former Terrorists
WHERE: University of Michigan
Rackham Auditorium 915 East Washington Street (between South Thayer and Fletcher Streets) Ann Arbor, Michigan
WHEN: Tuesday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m.
Zachariah Anani, a former terrorist-militant and refugee from Lebanon, will join two other former terrorists, Walid Shoebat and Kamal Saleem for "Terrorism: The World's Greatest Threat," a presentation at the University of Michigan on Tuesday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m.
All three former terrorists risk their lives daily to relay their important message. See: 3xTerrorists .com. Recently, Anani has been targeted by Islamist groups because he lives near the event. These groups have mounted a public witch hunt against him.
Prior to the highly publicized controversy surrounding his recent talk at the Campbell Church in Windsor, Ontario, (across the border from Detroit), Anani received death threats warning him against speaking at the university.
The controversy at the church in Windsor is a reaction to billboards placed in the Detroit Metro area, which advertise his participation in the university event.
Walid Shoebat believes that the extremists who are trying to stop Anani's freedom of speech are also seeking to stifle the important education Anani and his colleagues have to offer on terrorism.
"In order to understand the negative affects of narcotics, reformed drug addicts are often called upon to talk about their experiences, " says Shoebat. "It is the same situation here.
Three former terrorists are educating the world on the phenomenon of terrorism, so that people can understand." The event is free and open to the public.
For directions go to: http://www.ums. org/s_tickets/ directions_ parking.asp Walid Shoebat is the author of "Why I left Jihad." His new book, "Why We Want To Kill You!" will be released in February. I wonder if the brownshirts will pull fire alarms and other intimidation tactics like they did with Tom Tancredo in Lansing.
Please post a report thread?!?
Ann Arbor just gets nuttier and nuttier.
Shoebat killed like 300 people. Before he stopped.
I've heard Shoebat speak in forums as diverse as the Larry Elder Show and George Noory's Coast-to-Coast a.m. Regardless of the audience, his message is consistent and frightening...he needs to be heard.
I've seen this presentation on TV in the last year.
IT is a powerful message.
Just wish them health and wish there were more like them.
Used to be able to find a decent pizza around there... days gone by...
In my book, you don't become a "reformed" murderer. You get executed for it.
it's exactly like he talks in Obsession, just details of the same message.
what I saw was a Q&A session where they discussed real events as much as they could and the training, endoctrination, threats...
They are just average ME men who caught on to the stupidity of the slaughter.
I don't remember them saying they were Christians, at least not all three of them. To me that almost takes away from the message IMO.

thanks...I'll be going early as I suspect there will be a hubub of activity prior to the event.
The article said -- "Zachariah Anani, a former terrorist-militant and refugee from Lebanon, will join two other former terrorists, Walid Shoebat and Kamal Saleem for "Terrorism: The World's Greatest Threat," a presentation at the University of Michigan on Tuesday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m."
Yep, I've heard all three of them speak, at one time or another. It's always been by television interviews, radio interviews and/or DVDs.
Of the three, Walid Shoebat is the best speaker and the "strongest" and most forceful, it would seem. Kamal Saleem is less so, but still good. And Zac Anani is the "softest spoken" and somewhat "hesitating" in his speech, although, if given ample time to speak, he can make his case, too.
I believe Zac lives in Canada, where I don't believe he can speak out -- as he does in the U.S. The other two (at least, for sure Walid) live in the U.S.
I wonder if the speaking engagement will be disrupted, as it's been done before with them.

I wouldn't expect them to go announcing it....their lives are already endangered.
You said -- "I do volunteer work at a community shelter in Dearborn, and the word there is that these guys are now Christians."
For sure, they are. In many interviews, they may not get a clear opportunity to give their testimony, but with some Christian interviewers, they are given the opportunity (and those are on specifically Christian shows).

I was told by friends to expect some fireworks prior to...we'll see. Will bring camera.
You asked -- "Can you bottom-line it? What does the guy say?"
Islamic terrorists are evil, they are dedicated to taking over -- here in the United States -- and *they are here* right now and have been for many years (long before 9/11).
