"Impatient Iraqi blood donors take matters into their own hands..."

"..celebrated the holiday of Ashoura."
No wonder these people never have time to work and rebuild their country.
They're in a constant holiday frenzy of bloodletting ,stampeding , beheading and detonation.
What you are describing here is a practice by some "Catholic" sects in 3rd world countries. Thge Vatican has condemned such practices years ago. There is no room for such behavior in Reformed Theology or Roman Catholic Theology.
Yes, I know there's some kind of crucifixion group.....South America someplace(?)
I've heard of a self-flagellation group, but I don't know which religion it is.

You said Christians don't do such things. They do.
I think I finally figured out why liberals and Democrats love Islam and Moslems so much: It is that refreshing primitivity of their culture. They don't use a bunch of energy, they don't consume a whole lot, and there is a pretty good chance that they will reduce the world's population, in the long run.
I am aquainted with a Marine currently in Baghdad. I've seen a picture of him holding an Iraqi baby who was brought in for some medical treatment. A few days later that child's head was bashed against a brick wall and killed because his mother dared to take him to people from the west for treatment. This just makes me sick. Some of these people are definately animals.
