Hillary Rodham Clinton left caucus-goers here yesterday believing that Bubba had given her a baptism by fire in how to deal with "evil and bad men."
Clinton's quip, made during a morning rally with about 500 Iowans, drew 31 seconds of straight laughter and applause that left little doubt among attendees that she'd made a joke at hubby Bill Clinton's expense.

Kind of like Being There
Keep it up, Hil. Keep reminding everyone of your past, you'll get elected no problem...

I think rape is pretty evil.
Ummm... that evil would be called "Hillary"
I guess the next logical question for her is, what did you do about the evil, bad man in your life?
nothing.
She is the classic enabler.
Certainly not presidential material.
Well stated BUMP!
I'm not so sure she was referring to Bill. She could have been referring to Bush, Cheney, Rumsefeld, etc.
Good point, but I see this as the unveiling of a well-orchestrated strategy.
The masses rush to buy bigger and bigger screens to watch the freak shows.
Soon another Timothy Leary will rise to prominence?
-"I guess the next logical question for her is, what did you do about the evil, bad man in your life?

Exactly. I think our side should play this up more than anything. A pathetic woman, attaching herself to a man who constantly cheats on her is not electable in my opinion. What other kind of abuse will she take on behalf of our country and do nothing about?
That's exactly how I see this too! She put words together to form what she thought was going to be a coherent sentence and stumbled into a 'funny' that indicates that she agrees that she has been surrounded by evil all her life. As the audience chuckled for 31 seconds, how many of them thought about all of her shady deals throughout her life or thought about her being jilted by Bill? What she failed to say is that she has grown just as evil in order to deal with them.......
My first impression was that she was alluding to Ken Starr.
My husband is convinced that Bubba is going to torpedo her campaign. He thinks he's so wrapped up in himself that he will find it impossible to let her take center stage. Let's be honest he will also become the butt of jokes about being the "First Man". Doubt his ego could stand it.
I dont think Bill made a fool of her,. I think of her as a self-made fool.
I agree. What about Bill's character would have made her think that he'd be a faithful husband? She got just what she bargained for.
Yep. She handles evil men by standing by them, making excuses for them, blaming everyone else, lying for them. That's really funny.
I will never forget and I see Hillary's past as just as bad or worse than Bill's - Moral relativism at it's best.
