Excerpt -

NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and two other prominent Democrats have failed to disclose they are officers of family charities, in violation of a law requiring members of Congress to report non-profit leadership roles, USA Today reported in its Monday editions.

Rep. Rahm Emanuel of Illinois, the fourth-ranking House Democrat, and Sen. Evan Bayh of Indiana also did not report they serve as family foundation directors, according to financial disclosure reports examined by USA TODAY.

All three foundations are funded and controlled by the lawmakers and their spouses, and do not solicit donations from outside sources.

"The most interesting part of the USA Today article suggests that Pelosi's filing of a false report could be prosecuted as a felony."

Operative word being, "could."

She would only be proscecuted if the letter (R) followed her name. Ex: Nancy Pelosi (R)California, then she would be prosecuted....however, a (D) follows her name, so she gets a pass....

I agree with your sentiment, but what really needs to happen now is for her violation of the law to be referred to the House Ethics Committee, and the Department of Justice.

Well, like Mrs. Clinton, she's a mother and more extraordinary, a Career Political Mother. The career political mother is the new sensation, superior and more knowledgeable than anyone else ever to have walked upon the face of the earth.

Therefore, career political mothers are immune and not quilty of any corruption or wrongdoing because they're just normal moms who clean house, clean closets, and do normal things with family and friends.
