Would-be robber broke probation
A would-be robber shot to death by an off-duty King County sheriff's sergeant Friday night near Pike Place Market had a warrant out for his arrest.

The SPI Blog has this headline running: "Another police shooting in Seattle at night -- the third this month" Obviously to stoke the anti-cops or a race war.

Three day pass for Sgt. and a flying Salmon from Pike Place Market. Seriously, the is one less perp for the City to jail feed, try, then send to Prison. Thanks Sgt.

I imaginge it could be very hard for some to believe that three shootings by police this month could be 'justified'.
"The 61-year-old sergeant, who was not in uniform, identified himself and pulled his weapon. Curry allegedly ran at the sergeant, who fired into Curry's chest."
I think it is entirely reasonable to shoot an armed robber as he is charging at you. And I hope it 'sends a message' to other budding hold-up punks.

I imaginge it could be very hard for some to believe that three shootings by police this month could be 'justified'.I'm one of them. Far too few for an entire month, to justify paying that many cops to sit on their hands.
Take away the Tazers, rubber bullets, beanbags, etc, and that situation will remedy itself, however.

Eau Contraire. The remedy sits not with the Police. The remedy lies with the County and State gummints. Sweep the Dims out of office; install Republicans with a mandate to clean up the crime scene and crap like this will go away. It will take a few years but it is not the fault of the Police.

Agreed, and that is what I basically said. It IS the bleeding hearts in charge of setting public policies & the purse strings that mandate all the touchy-feely policing; and do their damnedest to keep every perp alive at all costs...including police and other innocent lives.

I should have added: It isn't justified to pay so many police to sit on their hands, instead of allowing them to do their job effectively.
