The left has a problem with spitting on people
Hillary's delegates spit on and taunt Police Honor Guard at her Convention

This is going to sound lame, but it is true. Most of us - those who support our President, and our troops - have jobs. We have families to feed, bills to pay, and as much as we would LOVE to face down those who disgrace the word 'American' we cannot afford to just drop everything and run the country to counter their protests, and marches.
The few such rallys held in the Mobile area, I attend when I can, and pray for those who do attend when I can't.
However, God grant me the Lotto jackpot and I'll be at every rally protesting their peace march with screaming neon colors on.
The people who rally and march for our Troops, God bless you, those who protest our Troops, well, God knows who you are.
Like I said, alot of it is simple economics. I can understand your anger, but think how we who have no choice but to work feel.
We feel as if we let our Troops down, that we fail them, and that weighs heavy on each and every one of us, every minute of the day.
Did the weekly support the troops demo, got great response. Had on punk flip me off (I raspberried him in response) and I had one guy honk and then hold up his BDUs. I yelled like I do when the Packers get a touchdown, he grinned and drove on through.
Bump
So...you guys are chumps in his world for counter protesting the "hissy fit", but we should be beating the crap out of flag buurners? What's this guy's deal?
Kristinn, I have no good excuse. This is one of my pet peeves. We talk and talk and talk here on FR and with people like Rush & hannity but we rarely if ever assemble en masse to voice our position. The main excuse is "conservatives have jobs, liberals don't" This doesn't wash. I really beleive that if motivated we could organize a million person march on DC and let the congress and our spineless President know how we feel. No one will ever even attempt to organize such a rally.
Folks, these moonbats will be in fayetteville , NC on 3-17 Home of the 82nd Airborne. I will be there as will the NC Freepers. We have even been honored with kristinn's presence.
Perhaps it's time to spit back.
My kneejerk answer is that libs outnumber conservatives about 10 to 1 in the DC Metro area. Probably some of the "protestors" came only to see the celebs and get autographs. Our society "worships" these people, which I find just as disturbing.
I wish I could have been there to support you and the Vets. It's a shame that so many living near by could not take the time to counter protest the enemy within.
Maybe it's time for the Freepers to plan a big rally in DC like we did during the Clinton years. I would be happy to help organize the New England folks.
Thanks again to Kristinn and all that participated on Saturday.
We had the same thing happen here in my little town in AZ. We knew the moonbats were coming to protest the troops and we put the word out long before the Sunday morning event. I pinged every FReeper in Arizona, we had emails go out to hundreds of Republicans and Veterans in my town. Protest Warrior out of Tucson had secured all four corners without letting the moonbats know and we were going to try to shut them out.
We had about 2-3 dozen show up for our side, but nearly every one of them was from Tucson and had driven all the way down - a 1.5 hour drive. The end result was, we couldn't hold the corners and we were surrounded by moonbats several times. The police, at first, would not keep them divided from us and completely ignored the permit we had and the lack of permit for the moonbats' event. We had the parents and family of a Marine who died in Iraq there and they were treated pretty badly by the moonbats. They weren't spit on, or anything, but it was awful what the moonbats will say to people like that. And the police seemed hostile to us. In fact, they almost arrested the Marine's father who started yelling at the police after the police had treated him pretty badly.
We DID succeed in disrupting the moonbats' event considerably and really raining on their parade. But we did so with far few numbers and would have had much better success if people could have got off their butts and come down and held a damned flag or sign to support the troops and denounce the traitors.
Don't give up the good fight. You know what you're doing is right. And even if you have to stand alone, you'll still stand with God.
All the liberals have to do is climb out of their parents basements and hop on a Soros bus. Normal people have jobs and families they just can't "quit".
Social handouts allow the left to do anything any time they want, and the pro-Americans are forced to support them while they do it.
We desperately need social program reform. These people should be off the streets and earning their own keep, instead of biting the very hands that feed and protect them.
But I told myself it probably didn't matter, one person against some moonbats in a Jersey Shore town and slept in.
Turns out that two people showed up to demonstarte against the moonbats, an Iraq war widow and her baby. I very much regret letting that woman do that alone with her child. I've contacted the media who covered her and organizations like the Gold Star Mothers to try and contact her so I could apologize.
This "huge throng" of "tens of thousands" at Saturday's anti-Bush, anti-U.S. military, anti-U. S. demonstrations in D. C. was less than the number who attend EACH Ohio State game at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.
The stated capacity of Ohio Stadium is: 101,568. It is always a sell-out. The stated capacity is even exceeded in most games there.
So to conceptualize the "huge throng" on Saturday in D. C., simply think of Ohio Stadium and the quantity of spectators therein at each game.
This does make for perspective. Ohio Stadium is large, but it is only a stadium.
The planners and initiators of Saturday's demonstrations can only, after months of preparation and agitating on college campuses and facilitating bus transportation, etc., draw forth less than the total attendance at one Ohio State University football game.
Their only hope may have been that the media would exponentially multiply the protestors' "presence." In numerous instances, this turned out in a negative manner for them: such as photographs of black headwrap-concealed protesters, in the style of Middle Eastern militants, and the spray painting of the Capitol steps.
Would some congressman who reads this, please introduce a bill making it a "hate crime" to spit upon or molest a member of the armed forces?
Thanks.
Freepers. We should push for this.
