Count on "anti-war protestors" to act in a stupid, immature manner.

Never show fear to a predatory animal. That is exactly what the Capitol police commanders have done, they have turned their officers and the entire Congress into so much uncovered meat for the anarchist beasts. They should be fired before the sun comes up tomorrow.

Just how does a person become Chief of U.S. Capitol Police without being able to distinguish free speech from vandalism?

Would this mean burning the Capitol is also an expression of free speech?

M-16s on full auto can stop any vandalism and assault on public property.

Excuse me while I chuckle at all of the outrage on this thread. NONE OF YOU WERE THERE WITH US YESTERDAY WHEN THESE LEFTIES MARCHED ON THE CAPITOL. Why should the Capitol Police put their necks on the line when so few people bother to show up in support of America. There were tens of thousands of lefties against forty of us--including wounded warriors who left their hospital beds to support their country yet again. WHERE WERE YOU?

"The graffiti was easily removed by the dedicated [Architect of the Capitol] staff, some of whom responded on their day off to quickly clean the area."I'm sure the cost of removing this desecration will become the burden of the protesters, or is this how my taxes will be spent from now on?

The vibrations from this lawlessness will be felt for decades.
I wonder if the 1960's retreads are working on folk songs and rewriting history while I right this.

And who made the call?! McKinney?? (Cause we know who runs the Capitol police.)

"The graffiti was easily removed by the dedicated [Architect of the Capitol] staff, some of whom responded on their day off to quickly clean the area."And then what happens when they decide to set off some kind of homemade bomb the next time? That won't be so easily fixed.

Looks like the DC Capitol Police can't handle the basics; assault on an officer (McKinney), a drunk and or drugged driver (Patrick Kennedy), or malicious vandalism of taxpayer gonernment property.
Any wonder that DC touts one of the higher murder rates in the country?
If they can't handle the simple things...
