"If they get seriously sick, they can just go to an emergency room and stick the rest of us with the tab if they can't afford to pay it." THERE's your problem. Too much government already causes you to argue for more government.
Let's not pile on.

If Jack Kennedy were alive today he would have gone uber left like his brother. Remember Teddy was much more conservative back in the sixties and early seventies then the McGovernicks took over and he went left with them.
Duncan Hunter would make a fine leader but I have serious doubts about his ability to get the nod. Out of all likely candidates Romney is right on all the issues.

The way I see it, true conservatives have two choices and not much time to make them:
1) Take back the Republican Party from the RINO's or
2) Bail and switch to the Constitution Party which currently, as you say, doesn't seem stand a prayer (although that might be what it takes - a lot of prayer). Like you, they are my choice for the best platform of any of them.

JFK? I have to comment on him.
Why is he portrayed as (and people believe him to have been) anything but a total liberal-socialist like his brothers? He just didn't have enough time to show all his true colors - mostly the liberal moral debauch and double-minded inability to make tough decisions.

I just read it. Wow. If was socially conservative he would be running circles around the rest. He's throwing strikes in that speech for sure. Just damn, he's got it's nailed. However it's possible that he'll not be asked to do much but mop up re Iran. At least I hope so. This is an enemy who wants to cause massive harm to America. We can't wait.

Romney will make a nice VP candidate, assuming the Big Dig tunnel doesn't collapse.

I really don't see how the Big Dig gets blamed on Romney.
