I can't stand to see or hear Specter, the renegade. And to think that President Bush and Rick Santorium helped him get re-elected means absolutely nothing to him is beyond understanding.

The administration needed Specter's votes on issues coming before the senate before the election. If they abandoned him he would have made them pay BIG TIME.

Further, whatever we all think of Specter, he got our supreme court nominees thru his committee and out for a full senate vote.

Too bad some traitorous republicans chose not to vote and ended any hope of getting another conservative judge thru the senate.
