'Hi my name is Lindy and I deny the existence of the Holy Spirit and you should too.'
With that five-second submission to YouTube, a 24-year-old who uses the name "menotsimple" has either condemned herself to an eternity of punishment in the afterlife or struck a courageous blow against superstition. She's one of more than 400 mostly young people who have joined a campaign by the Web site BlasphemyChallenge.com to stake their souls against the existence of God. That, of course, is the ultimate no-win wager, as the 17th-century French mathematician Blaise Pascal calculatedit can't be settled until you're dead, and if you lose, you go to hell.
The Blasphemy Challenge is a joint project of filmmaker Brian Flemming, director of the antireligion documentary "The God Who Wasn't There," and Brian Sapient, cofounder of the atheist Web site RationalResponders.com. Their intent was to encourage atheists to come forward and put their souls on the line, showing others that you don't have to be afraid of God. The particular form of the challenge was chosen because, by one interpretation, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, a part of the Christian Trinity, is the only sin that can never be forgiven. And once something you've said gets posted on YouTube, as any number of celebrities can attest, you never live it down.

If Planck's constant were off by one part in one million million, life as we know it would be impossible. That is only one of the many factors. The odds of theis Universe workign out as it did without some kind of driving creative force are so minimal that they may as well be zero.
For blasphemy it is pretty lame. One could do better.
Could you please explain this? Like many on this forum, I am not a physicist. Googling Planck's Constant did not help much.
Somehow I think God does not require YouTube to remember these blasphemers.
And by the way, I wonder just how long YouTube would tolerate an organized campaign like this against Islam.
I'm not a physicist eitehr and I don't play one on TV, though I have developed a layman's interest in quantum physics lately. Let me see if I can dig up where I found that.
Here is the link to the Wikipedia article on Planck's constant:

And here is an interesting article on quantum physics and metaphysics:

Actually, by following the Judeo Christian God rather than the true Roman Gods, you are damned to eternity.
Or is it the Greek Gods?
Or is it the Persian Gods?
Let us postulate an infinite number of gods, and then when you don't believe in one, that one has the power to condemn you to hell....
No win indeed....
Well, as a verse goes, paradise has a milder climate, but hell has a better society. At least most of the more interesting types are expected to be there.
It has been shown that even at the lowest form of life, there is such a thing called "Irreducible Complexity". This means that a one-celled animal has a complexity that cannot be explained by "evilution". The lowly microscopic bacteria that have a flagellum is powered by a motor of which all parts have to be present in order to be operational. This means that if this flagella and it's motor developed through time, none of the flagellar parts would be useful until all the parts have evolved. Meaning it would be carrying around useless parts which miraculously were accidentally placed in the perfect position so that when all of the parts have evolved, will form a motor which will make the flagella a mode for movement of the microbe. Had any of the parts not been accidently placed in the proper place, the motor would not work, and thus a useless evolution which only becomes a burden rather than an asset.
They obviously don't understand the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. It doesn't occur by saying the words, "I deny the existence of the Holy Spirit." They should do a little more research!
A really good blasphemy is not that easy to pull out - one has to avoid vulgarity and triteness. In this regard a really good blasphemy, like great poetry or a really good cognac, is a rarity.
Does anybody know what the "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" is? What sin is it that is considered "blaspheming against the Holy Spirit?
I personally believe it is the sin of not receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He was God the Father's Sacrificial Lamb for our sins, and therefore calling the Holy Spirit a liar who reveals Jesus to all mankind through all that has been created.

I remember when I was a teen, we used to go to the Paulist Fathers' retreat on the lake every Wednesday. One night we sat in a circle and we were asked to justify our belief that each of us was not simply alone and just imagining that there were others in the room. A simple faith experiment.
As I understand the Scriptures, to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, one would have to personally observe Jesus perform a miracle, and then attribute that miracle to the Devil, and thus deny the power of the Holy Spirit. Pretty hard to do today, because one would have to be before the Throne of God to see Jesus do such a thing!
Haha, what these people are doing is not what Jesus was refering too. As a Calvinist who's a tad sadist and fatalist, I'm getting a kick out of these videos. It looks like 90% of these people haven't left their houses or showered in weeks.
I personally believe it is the sin of not receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior,"
You are right. If you do not receive Jesus, you can't ask forgiveness for not receiving Jesus, so you go to hell.
There is no other sin that can't be nailed to the cross.
Does one have to be hammered to know where their faith lies?
