Rudolph W. Giuliani, who developed a national reputation for decisive and reassuring leadership after 9/11, now faces the odd challenge of having to reassure some supporters that he can be decisive about a very different issue: running for president. Even as his fellow Republican John McCain and fellow New Yorker Hillary Rodham Clinton have all but formally declared their candidacies, Mr. Giuliani has proceeded more cautiously.

Because Clinton lied under oath, I supported impeachment. I did not support impeachment because Clinton was an adulterer.
You people are strange.

"So you think they should be taught about fisting in 5th grade?"
No and I didn't say that. But let me tell you a secret about growing up in public schools, you will learn everything by the time you're in high school. You can pick up a lot just by what you hear in the hallways.

You are the one who proclaimed yourself as *superior*. I would think that *superior* people don't make spelling errors:-) You didn't say - you are NOT a Christian are you?
Btw, please answer the question: how is the anti-abortion movement doing, iyo? Any successes? Any particular reason it is such an important issue?

Then the GOP would be even more attractive to moderates, independents, and Reagan Democrats! We would gain 5 times as many of these voters than we would lose.
I hate to interrupt your swooning over the manliness of your hero but it's just a bizarre fantasy.
The basic electoral map for '08 is the same as it has been since the early Nineties. Republicans must win their entire block of states or they lose the White House. New York and California are unwinnable for us. A ticket headed by Rudy would probably lose Texas or Ohio and would almost certainly lose a handful of smaller southern and western states where pro-family and pro-gun voters are strongest.
We have to hold our current states. I don't think Rudy can possibly do it.

I'm telling you, some people on here are just crazy. All I say is there are gays out there and we can't hide it from children forever and all of a sudden I'm for teaching children about gay sex and the virtues of being gay and how Mark Foley is great. This is insane.

Glad I missed all that public school stuff.
BTW, prep school kids are worse than public school kids. many are pawned off by rich parents, and a lot are there becuse they got kicked out of public schools. Thankfully, i was there for neither reason.

I'm sorry but Texas isn't going to vote for Hillary Clinton! Neither is any southern state. Rudy would pick up NH, probably NJ(latest poll shows he's leading Hillary there 51%-41%), maybe Penn, Wisconsin, Minnesota. Rudy would win safely in the EC.
