Rudolph W. Giuliani, who developed a national reputation for decisive and reassuring leadership after 9/11, now faces the odd challenge of having to reassure some supporters that he can be decisive about a very different issue: running for president. Even as his fellow Republican John McCain and fellow New Yorker Hillary Rodham Clinton have all but formally declared their candidacies, Mr. Giuliani has proceeded more cautiously.

The reason Rudy is taking his time is so he can slowly torment the "Rudy Haters" on FR.

...I actually have probably the same 'values' package as you but I don't feel afraid of Rudy because I believe those social views belong in the states and a POTUS does not have much to say about them. This has been reiterated over and over on these threads... Yes I know, I've seen that statement many times, but I don't agree with it... I don't need to write another pastoral, do I :)... Let me just say this, the POTUS is a ESPECIAL position, regarless of what he can or can't do in actuallity! He, his values, represent SOMETHING very important. I would want Guiliani and Romney serving in goverment in imporatant positions, but NOT as a president Why?... Oh boy... bla, bla, bla, and values I guess :)

"Appeasement will only get you the lesser of two liberals, and with that, we all lose. Gays and abortions are serious stuff, the forefront of the decline of our society. give up on that, and what good does national security do? Aids, the anal injected death sentence, kill more here than terrorist ever have. Promoting homosexuality like Rudy does promotes aids. Good job, Rudy."
Please tell me how the federal government and the POTUS can stop gays from having anal sex?

Gays and abortions are serious stuff, the forefront of the decline of our society. So how do you feel you are doing so far in preventing abortion and cracking down on the evil homosexuals? :-)

Exposing Rudy for what he really is is not bashing. It's the truth.

The reason Rudy is taking his time is so he can slowly torment the "Rudy Haters" on FR.No, he has to adjust his platform, flip some flops and write up more lies to appeal to conservatives. He and hillary probably hire the exact same consultants, and are trying to cover the exact same ground in doing so.

Why do you refuse to expose his anti-tax, fiscal displine, pro growth, anti government regulation, anti-union, pro school choice, pro America foreign policy, strong national defense, Iraq and WOT positions? I'm sure I could name more.

Is or is not abortion an issue? If it's not - then you are being dishonest. If it is an issue - then why not discuss it? How do you feel you are doing so far in preventing abortion?
Do you understand the connection between making abortion a priority in a candidate and discussing where the anti-abortion movement is in terms of actually preventing abortion?
