A young disabled man who receives care for his life-limiting illness at a hospice run by a nun spoke yesterday of his decision to use a prostitute to experience sex before he dies.
Sister Frances Dominica gave her support to 22-year-old Nick Wallis, who was born with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Sufferers usually die by their thirties.
Mr Wallis told staff at the Douglas House hospice in Oxford that he wanted to experience sexual intercourse. He explained that he had hoped to form an intimate and loving relationship with a woman, but his disability had acted as a barrier.
He told The Daily Telegraph: "It was a decision two years in the making and I discussed it with my carers and my parents. Telling my mother and father was the hardest part, but in the end they gave me their support.

You're kidding, I hope...

Hmmm...it's Hospice's policy that they don't want you volunteering (or I assume working) for them if you're going to proselytize to the patients. On the other hand, I don't know what happens if the individual Hospice is sponsored by a church.

Nuns aren't members of the clergy, they are consecrated members of the laity and the one in question in this story is a theological mess.

Get a clue, gomer. The nun is a goofy protestant, just like you.

This story is reminds me of Phil Hendrie Killing off the character R.C. Collins back when he was only on in L.A., the old days. It's the exact same issue. I may have to find that labelled cassette in my garage tomorrow, a real classic episode, back when each character got a whole hour.

Thanks for the correction. I thought they were part of the clergy. I do agree the Nun is a mess here.

I'm just thankful the nun didn't volunteer.

Obviously he's verbalizing his own fantasy here.

you have to feel a little sorry for women that have no sexual drive of their own....I guess they're developing some new female libido pills for women like that....
people don't like to acknowledge female sex drives though...its not "nice" to talk about it since we're not supposed to have any feelings like that...per Hildy....
I maintain strongly that women infact have much more powerful sexual drives than men....its not simply physical and it lasts more than a few minutes....its why we have 3 billion people in the world....

"It just would have been nice if a non-prostitute deflowered the young man, someone willing to perform an act of kindness, a "mission of mercy""
why?.....its just an animal act, an animal need.....why a sheep could have done the service and probably for free....
remember that when you're low on money.....

Reminds me of a friend of mine. We were drivin' down this country road. He pointed and said, 'that tree right over there. First place I ever made love'. I said, 'that's a cool place'. He said, 'yes, but her mother walked up on us'. 'No kiddin'? What did she say?', I asked. He answered, 'ba aaa aaa aaa'.
I stopped the truck and shoved him out the door.
Just jokin' around, come on. Hey, it's kinda funny ...

Of course women have a sex drive...but except for some exceptions, I don't believe it's anywhere NEAR a man's drive.

I think our sex drive about the same. But women are smarter about it. We act like a lost puppy finding it's master. Women act like it is no big deal. Then they get dinner, movies, roses, trips to the beach, and yes sometimes cash.
Cash works for ugly people and for the fellow who knows what he wants, but does not want to put up with the all the BS.
I'm not saying it is right, but I am saying that's the way it is.

I think this is what women talk about when they go to the can together.
