So? Is there *any* country out there whose moral authority is so complete that we should seek their good opinion?

Hey Kerry, just stay over there in Switzerland because it's got to be better than living in an "international pariah".

"Those who doubted whether Iraq or the world would be better off without Saddam Hussein, and those who believe today that we are not safer with his capture, don't have the judgment to be President, or the credibility to be elected President.

No one can doubt or should doubt that we are safer -- and Iraq is better -- because Saddam Hussein is now behind bars."

Senator John Kerry (Democrat, Massachusetts)
Speech at Drake University in Iowa

Awwww.....he's just overseas checking the political winds, as usual. What do you expect from a windsurfer? Switzerland is the perfect place to take a Global Test.

...you have to do it in a way that passes the test, that passes the global test....

The man is so desperate for attention, he will just say anything. He needs a really good advisor to tell him to 'put a sock in it.'

We know he rejected our role as leader of the free world decades ago when he went to work for the Communist enemy.

What's wrong with the so-called heavyweights in Davos that they invited a featherweight like Kerry to come to their confab? If they judge the value of someone by how that person values him/herself, why didn't they invite Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell?

Or, if they wanted to be surrounded by unearned arrogance, why didn't they move their meeting to Hollywood?

He'd know about being a pariah; even among Democrats these days (exc. for the ones he serves with in the Senate, and maybe even with some of them), people roll their eyes at the very mention of his name. Oh...there he goes again!

Fellow Yalie Garry Trudeau on Kerry, 1971:

Where does he pick to make his "I'm not running" speech? A Senate session talking about the war! He's more important than some old war, I guess...the world stops when Kerry speaks. And has to wade through 15 minutes of bloviating for him to get to the point.

...well Kerry's sort of a domestic pariah, so he should feel right at home.
