I was watching the news conference on this matter. The prosecutor mentioned that this is the very worst case he has ever come across in all his years. The 3 month old baby
being used was chilling. Now the neighbors want to know what kids were abused. I don't blame them.

>>>But we both agreed that many of these kids, by the time they are 6, 7, 8 etc are pretty much trainwrecks from the physical, mental and sexual abuse.

>>>>Most of them will be in and out of the system until the day they die. Their lives are pretty much destroyed (we agreed on that). To be suffering from PTSD at 8, suicidal, totally anti-social etc. is a living hell.

Absolutely agree.

>>>>SO, it's like murder, but worse.

Extreme emphasis agree.

What I've read and seen is there are those who are always looking for the neglected child.

They don't go for the kid with a doting parent hovering around. The go for the kid who's parent (s) or guardians are too involved in their own stuff to care that someone non-family is with the kids.

Usually it involveds drugs or alcohol. And the 'caregivers' too messed up to care or even notice. But the stories I've read of what some of these kids have been through will make you vomit.

I agree.
Anything short of a slow, painful death is just not good enough for these scumbags!
How can one be the arresting officer for folks like this and just not beat the living hell out of them on the spot?!!! I'm sorry but they would be handcuffed and beaten within an inch of their lives if I was in charge.

I just CANNOT comprehend how anyone could be SO SICK as to look at a child and think sexual thoughts!
I about threw up when the article mentioned the man sexually abusing a 3 month old baby! What PERVS!!!!

I can only pray that God would comfort and heal these children.

I've heard stories from a friend whose parents foster kids.
She has witnessed behavior by small kids who were obviously sexually and physically abused. One 4-yr. old would eat any bug, lizard, or small critter she could catch. Another would pull out her hair in clumps and eat it. Another would dig feces out of her diaper and throw it at anyone in the room. THese kids were all 3 or older and were not retarded, but had been abused. It was VERY SAD to hear.

I completely agree with the sentiments expressed here. No punishment meted out by the court can possibly be harsh enough for the for the crimes these criminals committed.

But they likely did not act alone. It is doubtful that they went to all the trouble of producing so much pornography merely for their own use. They were probably selling the stuff to willing consumers.

Those customers, if caught, should be charged as accessories to the crime. They provide the incentives for the pornographers to do their work.

The punishment for people who buy or watch child pornography should be just as severe as for those who produce the stuff.

Exactly.

Those who buy kiddie porn or like those who fly overseas to have sex with minors.

They need to be dead.

And I don't want them to suffer. I just want them dead.

Need photos of the women as well.

Since they were in the business of selling intrusive photos, there's nothing to be ashamed of, right?

i recently remember seeing something on fox news where a man from pa was in jail for child abuse and was allowed to drive to the university during the day to get his college degree. I can't seem to find the link. I wonder what's wrong with the cj system in pa.

"if every frame of every movie ....were counted as a distinct picture...it might add up to a million."
---that is EXACTLY how a prosecutor might present it:
WWWAAAAAAAY back over 40 years ago, as a student in L.A.,
I attended most of a two-three week trial for the 30 minute film SCORPIO RISING, which had just been busted at a Hollywood movie theater (the Cinema) in the "Movies after Midnight" program , for violating the Cal. Penal Code definition of pornography. I thought the prosecutor was a creep, who specialized it hitting below the belt, but what HE did was find 3 or 4 FRAMES from the movie where an erect penis was visible (at a homo biker "party"), blow them up into black and white glossy 8x10 photographs, and pass them around to the ALL-WOMAN jury. The human mind doesn't even register the image consciously when it is that fleeting (1/24th of a second)
The prosecutor then tried to make a case, in response to that, that it was more like "subliminal advertising".
One second of film equals 24 frames/images, a 30 minute film contains 43,200 images. About 25 times that would equal a million images, and continuing the math, that would only require 12 1/2 HOURS of film. So if all images were pornographic, it would take about 12.5 hours to produce them. Since I'm sure these "films" made no attempt to be "artistic" it IS possible that ALL the images were pornographic, unlike SCORPIO , which only had a fraction of a second of "porn". I hope this has been as much fun for all of you as it has been for me....."memories are made of this...."
