SACRAMENTO, CA -- Rosie O'Donnell is calling for the impeachment of President George W. Bush.
In a statement to her ABC audience on "The View" Rosie said, âWe've given you [Bush] 4 years and 3,000 American lives, enough sir.â
The comment's came after President Bush's State of the Union Address Monday night caused a heated debate on the set of "The View."
Rosie went further to say, âYou know what I think the Congress should do, and I'm sure this will make me in some sort of celebrity feud or AOL poll, but someone, I believe, should call for the impeachment of George W. Bush, to let the world know.â
Rosie went on to say, âI think we should do it so the world knows that the nation is not standing behind this President, these choices. That the nation, a democracy, feels differently than the man who is leading as if it were a dictatorship. And that âweâ represent this country, he does not lead as a monarch.â
Whether the call to impeach holds any water Rosie says it should be done anyway. âEven if he doesn't get impeached that we should call on it to tell the world that we are against his policy.â
In response to Rosie's comments on the show, co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck said, âIt could be dangerous when you're in the middle of a war to call for the impeachment of your leader. You have to think about the long term affects.â
Rosie responded saying, âI'm saying that someone should stand up and say, when democracy was dying, I Senator said I am against this. To call for impeachment is a political statement from the people they represent. Is there some Senator brave enough to stand up and say it?â
In recent headlines a feud between O'Donnell and Apprentice host Donald Trump caused heated debates between the two that were very public.

Somebody shove a big Twinkie down her hole and make her choke on it.
She must really hate herself...
Who cares what that fat pig lesbian thinks.
I'm gonna laugh my ass off the day she keels over from a hate induced stroke.
I'd like her to list the reasons why the President should be impeached. Please, just name one impeachable offense.
Just ONE.
Only Rosies's opinion matter, don't you know!
She is from the DO AS WE SAY cloth, not as we do!
Uh, rosie, no it's not.
Rosie can't figure out we live in a constitutional republic.
Will someone PLEASE padlock a ballgag onto this witch?
can we overload this wench with hatemail?
John Kerry lost by almost 4 million votes. Lick your wounds and go away!
That bag of used food is just an attention whore.
Rosie is not even a real person, so I can't figure out why anyone would give her airtime, let alone air. I can't say what I think about her here...actually, it hurts my head to even think about her.
She's a menace to society, for sure. Her poor kids...
Well, I guess Dubya's goose is cooked now. Rosie's against him. Ooooooh!
How does this bloated, annoying, oaf get and keep a job that puts her in the public eye? I guess it says as much about her audience as it about does her.
The fat pigs reasons W should be impeached:
1. He's not a LESBIAN
2. Laura's not a LESBIAN
3. Jenna and Barbara aren't LESBIANS
4. Jeb's not a LESBIAN
