Neturei Karta members who attended Iran's Holocaust denial conference to be denied entrance to Israel by Interior Minister Bar-On, according to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper

Neturei Karta members who attended a Holocaust denial conference in Iran will be banned entrance to the State of Israel by Interior Minister Ronnie Bar-On as published in Yedioth Ahronot newspaper on Friday.
The conference held over a month ago caused a great storm throughout the Jewish world and Israel, the most shocking detail being the attendance of members of the ultra-Orthodox Jewish group Neturei Karta, who were even photographed kissing Holocaust denier Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Ten of the Neturei Karta members attending the conference have been identified by name, and it was ordered by Bar-On in a letter to the Population Registrar Director Sassi Katzir that these men should be prevented from entering Israel.
These men are citizens of the United States and Europe, some of them have visited Israel in the past, and some even have relatives in Israel.
In his letter, Bar-On wrote: "I hereby order that entrance to Israel of those participating in the conference be denied. According to various publications, members of Neturei Karta took part in the conference. You are requested to look into these publications, and if it turns out that members of this community did attend, their entrance to Israel should be denied."
The Neturei Karta participants have suffered following their attendance at the conference, after Jewish communities in New York decided to completely boycott them.
Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
What a shame - I'll bet there was a bulldozer with their name on it.
IMO they should be denied entrance to Israel.
They dont represent anything israel stands for.
They should be denied entrance to Israel the same as Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry should be denied Communion by Catholics.
"The Neturei Karta participants have suffered following their attendance at the conference, after Jewish communities in New York decided to completely boycott them." Suffered? Not yet enough. May they rot in Hell and take their boyfriend Ahmadinejad with them. But they were not denied entrance to Israel simply because they don't represent anything Israel stands for. I imagine they were denied entrance because they are fostering incitement to genocide.
Who are these guys anyway?
Good for Israel. Let's hope they don't cave in the face of idiotic protests.

An orthodox Jewish group taking the position that the holocaust never happened? Nuts. Sounds like someone paid good money to have a 'Jewish' group at this conference. This seems like well orchestrated propaganda to me.
What does the Hebrew sign read?
"Village Idiot"
I don't believe they took the stand that the Holocaust never happened. It was something else that got them there... I need to look it up. But as for the denial of the right of aliyah (return to Israel),"A Jew can be excluded from Israeli citizenship under the Law of Return if s/he is considered to be dangerous to the welfare of the State of Israel." This includes committing a felony, having a communicable disease, and committing an act which is against the best interests of the Jewish people. This is the most high-profile denial of aliyah we have seen, am I wrong? Can anyone remember another?
Hah! Thanks ... very appropriate.

Rabbi Weiss said the claim (denying the Holocaust) does not reflect his group's position. He opposes the state of Israel, and believes Israelis have used the Holocaust to gain sympathy and advantage but doesn't believe the Holocaust toll is exaggerated.
My question: Others have 'opposed' the state of Israel and yet are not denied entrance... or are they? I wonder if there is a list somewhere... And, of course, the Jewish press is FULL of criticism of people who criticize Israeli policy. It's a very serious issue.
"Israel has denied entry to thousands of peace activists in the past three years and completely denies foreign nationals the right to visit Gaza. "

These are people who want to support (albeit non-violent) Palestinian resistance, for the most part.
