Report: Russia tracking IDF movements

Russia maintains listening posts along the Syrian border with Israel which it uses to follow IDF movements in the Golan Heights, it was revealed Thursday night.

According to a report on Channel 2, the posts are manned by Russian military officers who pass on information to Hizbullah in Lebanon. Israel, The Jerusalem Post learned, has known about the posts for over a decade since they were established.

Russia's involvement in the Iranian nuclear program, as well as various state-of-the-art arms sales it has periodically made to both Syria and Iran, has caused some friction over the last few years in Russian-Israeli ties.

Diplomatic officials said that the while Prime Minister Ehud Olmert discussed with the Russians during his visit to Moscow in October the advanced Russian arms that were found in Hizbullah's possession during the summer's war in Lebanon, the issue of the listening posts was not brought up.

Russia most recently drew Israeli ire after completing a sale of advanced anti-aircraft missiles to Iran earlier this month.

I fully agree and we should be viewing Putin & his henchmen as the same type of overall threat Iran is, considering Putin is arming Tehran's tyrants. In the future any American or aother allied pilots which could be shot down will be a direct result of Moscow's anti-aircraft systems now in place around Iran's nuclear weapons sites and other strategic targets.

That's a relevant point relating to Putin's Kremlin offering the bulk of their advanced weapons support to the most vial of Shi'ite dictatorships & interlinked terrorist proxies.

That is all correct. Between Tehran, Damascus & Hezballah their long range diabolical goal is a fully dominant Shi'ite caliphate from Pakistan to the shores of Spain itself.

Putin's ongoing weapons shipments to the Shi'ite Axis will eventually backfire on Russia itself, beginning in the southern Caucasus's.

Thank you for posting that Channel 2 data. The Russian are brazenly arrogant in terms of their overt military assistance to Syria and Iran. Considering Washington remains mute on the threat poised by Moscow to Israel coupled with the general Near & Middle-East region, the threat will only worsen.

I would add to your quotes Chapters 38 & 39 of Ezekiel. The battle of Gog and Magog.

Sukkot is the Hebrew word for "booths" or temporary shelters. These booths, or tents, were first erected in the wilderness of the Sinai desert during the 40 year Exodus.

On the first day of Sukkot Zechariah 14 is read. There are several themes in this one chapter of Zechariah:

On the Saturday-Sabbath within Sukkot Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39 are read.
These Chapters deal with the Invasion of Israel (Northern area), rather than with an invasion of Jerusalem (Southern area) as stated in the previously read Zechariah 14:1, 2.

These are both prophetic chapters. When Gog and Magog comes against Israel (the land), Israel will be the victor, by the intervention of God. "Thus will I magnify Myself, and sanctify Myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD." Ezekiel 38:23
