There's a slight difference between killing enemy soldiers and killing your own (Jewish) citizens! (Not to mention those in neighboring countries....) Animals deserve to be hunted down
So, the The Japanese should be hunting down Americans who killed hundreds of thousands "innocent" civilians in a nuclear inferno? The Germans should be hunting down Americans who incinerated a hundred thousand "innocent" civilians in Dresden?
I take it you're OK with this?

You don't see any difference between killing civilians with whom you are at war, and killing your own citizens in an effort to exterminate them from the planet?
We were at war with Japan, and wanted to win so that we could stop our own losses. There's is some logic to that. We weren't trying to obliterate the Japanese. We were trying to win a war, and put an end to our own losses. What is the logic to killing your own (innocent) citizens? NONE.
