Muslim Groups Opposed to ABC's Hiring of Radio Talk Show Host
(CNSNews.com) - Three Arab and Muslim American advocacy groups are voicing their opposition to ABC's "Good Morning America" hiring talk-show host Glenn Beck, claiming he has "an obvious anti-Arab and anti-Muslim prejudice in his broadcasts." The Arab American Institute, American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, and the Muslim Public Affairs Council claim Beck made "threats and blatantly inaccurate statements" on his show. The groups sent a letter to ABC/Disney asking for a meeting to detail their concerns. They have also launched a membership action campaign urging supporters to contact ABC News over Beck's hiring. "[Glenn Beck's] addition to 'Good Morning America' would disseminate his prejudiced, openly-hostile and ignorant commentary to an even broader national audience, and diminish the credibility of your reputable and highly-rated news show," said the groups said in the letter to ABC. "To provide a platform for his hateful speech is dangerous and irresponsible, and we strongly and urgently implore you to reconsider this move," they wrote.
Mohammed didn't watch TV so Muzzles shouldn't watch TV. They show women's skin on there! And legs. And hair! Yi-yi-yi-yi-yi!
"LOVE IT"
You missed one......SHOVE IT!
"Reconsider your decision OR WE WILL KILL ALL OF YOU INFIDELS!!!
They're probably hiring him to set him up for disgrace. When they're done with him he'll have less audience than before. And they'll use their manufactured incident to justify never hiring another conservative (right wing nutjob) or even giving one air time.
They could also be doing it to boost their ratings, and that's one more reason he shouldn't collaborate with the enemy.
We should just tell them that is the way it is in this country. Love it or don't let Lady Liberty's foot hit yer butt on the way out.
I share your sentiments. If Mr. Beck runs for office I will contribute to his campaign. I am so sick of our enemies and enemy sympathizers telling us what we can and cannot do.
WHo's Glenn Beck?
Seems ratings & the almighty dollar have forced ABC into doing what you know they hate doing.
Conservative talk show host. #3 in America after Rush and Hannity.
Savage is #3 after Rush and Sean.
Then I guess Beck is lying cause he says it every day. I think I'll believe him. Sorry.
They just don't want the truth out for everyone to see.
They better back away from bashing Glenn Beck.
I'm not saying a radio talk show host, now also a TV personality is an individual who can command real power in the USA...But, we do have a presidential election coming up in a couple of years.
So far, I would rather write in Glenn Beck than vote in any of those who have announced their candidacies!
(Rush already having stated numerous times he won't run)
Stupid Islamics just think they can manipulate popular culture in the USA.
They still think the MSM run the country!
Howdy! I have always said that if the MSM wants to make money, at least "play" like they have conservative a voice. Glenn Beck will pull millions to their morning show.
Arbitron doesn't lie my friend.
Savage is number 3 in radio.
I think I'll believe Arbitron.
Angry, whining Muslims.
Like that's something you don't see every day.

Show us the ratings.
He's not exactly going to be "on" ABC. He will appear on Good Morning America from time to time as a consultant. Will he have plenty of time for his other endeavors? ...Not so much. :)
Arab American Institute claims American concerns but their web site is almost 100 percent Middle East.
American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee website's top concerns have zero concerns about radical Muslims. Lots of, "poor us, we're victims of America," though.
Muslim Public Affairs Council at least shows some interest in America beyond what it means for their benefit. That is, there's a link to "MPAC Rejects Bin Laden's Call for Global War" and a "National Grassroots Campaign to Fight Terrorism."
I did not visit the former I did read the latter. Surprise, they are against generic terrorism. (McVeigh anyone?) They want law enforcement and the media to understand them and they invite law enforcement and the media to use MPAC's guidelines to understand them -- nothing obvious about them understanding America.
They're going to yank our chain once too often.
I for one will back the appropriate government response.
