Of course, the other alternative is to drag San Diego down to the level of Tijuana. Illegal Immigration + Universal Health Care (which everyone seems to be embracing) will bankrupt us.
Illegal immigration will end when we're no longer the shining city on the hill Reagan spoke of.
Either that or the entire world's population is located here--that's the more likely scenario and only a matter of time.
The politicians are not just looking at San Diego, they want ALL of the country to resemble Tijuana. A large part of my small city already does.
