Frankly I don't think Rudy Giuliani is trembling in his boots over the announcement that Duncan Hunter has announced his bid. In fact I doubt many people know who Dunker Huntan is and are probably unlikely to bother to find out.

You'll notice that none of the Rudy supporters are criticizing Hunter on this thread like you guys do on Rudy threads. This difference is that pro-abortion, gun-grabbing, big government, serial adulterer, pro-radical gay agenda liberal Rudy Giuliani is the MOST LIBERAL REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE EVER and it is appropriate to attack him on Free Republic. Conversely, Hunter is a conservative and it is appropriate to support him on Free Republic.

I do not care about that other then a chuckle. But I do care about him being a liberal pro gay, pro abortion, pro OBL, anti gun Rino. I will not vote for him and if he wins the nomination I will go third party.

I agree with you on the dress non-issue.
That was a charity event of some sort, and his participation wasn't a RINO indicator.

But the fact is, conservatives DO care. And as much as it may get your knickers in a twist, the GOP can't win if conservatives won't back their candidate.

Yawn. Duncan Hunter is 100x the candidate Alan Keyes was. He's got the following advantages which should make him a formidable opponent:
1.) He's a decorated Vietnam vet.
2.) His son served two tours in Iraq.
3.) He's been elected to Congress 13 times.
4.) He served as chairman of a powerful House committee.
5.) He knows his stuff about defense issues inside and out--the most important issue of the day.
This is why the RINO people will be going bonkers over Hunter very soon. No doubt, they're digging through his trash right now.
