Democrats lying, this is news?.
Truth is not on their radar. Politics 24/7/365.

Does it help when the majority of Republican Congress critters refuse to fight for what they believe in?.

Can't blame Democrats for weak kneed pubbies can we.

They're always lying, and most are ignorant too. Else they would not say the things that they say.

Hey, does that make me Nietzschesque?

I wonder if Ron Wyden ever found out where Bosnia is located on the map?

His lack of knowledge caused me to shudder that this ignoramus was actually running for Sinator.

Both... they are psychotic, and have convinced themselves that their lies are true.

Dan rather and his story and all that... damn the facts, they really know in the heart what the 'truth' is.

Well .. obviously nobody on this thread read the article. It was quite accurate.

And .. I might add .. quite an accomplishment for somebody who is not on FR every day and night finding out this information. We're fortunate we have the opportunity to get the goods on the dems .. but for a lot of people this is a new thing.

Therefore .. I wouldn't eschew it so lightly .. and how about a few of us send the guy an email and thank him for revealing this truth and telling him about FR. Or would that be too much to ask ..??

Cyber ant that is a great idea.

We not only need to send the author an email for writing it we need to send it to the editor of the paper for publishing it.

I always send the author stuff at elfegobaca@comcast.net

To send letter to paper go to this link or cut and paste to browser: http://www.thebulletin.us/site/news.asp?brd=2737&nav_sec=77921

The only thing they value is the ability to wield power.

And apparently that doesn't require any vast intelligence. All it requires is a bunch of rabid hate filled followers willing to vote for whoever throws out the most radical rhetoric.

It's a cultural matter. In some cultures, one of which is modern-day liberalism, what you say and the vehemence with which you say it are more important than sticking to reality. You earn legitimacy by showing your feelings, your "sensitivity." It's a me-centered, subjective manner of looking at things. Logic, facts, rationality, attempts to look at the world objectively are regarded as "cold" - not really seeing the "human" aspects of existence.

I think the contrast between these two ways of thinking was illustrated perfectly in the confirmation hearings of John Roberts. He was trying to explain the law objectively; but the Democrats on the panel were confused by that - they wanted him to display emotion (ala Oprah) and to show them his "understanding" and "compassion."

In my world, Sin-a-tor is a perfectly good and deliberately used word.
