Imprisoned former Border Patrol agent Ignacio Ramos not only is being held in prison for trying to halt a fleeing drug smuggler, he's being held in solitary confinement treated as if he were Charles Manson, a relative told WND in an exclusive interview.
Joe Loya, Ramos' father-in-law, told WND that Ramos is being held in conditions usually reserved for extraordinarily dangerous or trouble-making inmates.
"They have Ignacio in a 6 foot by 12 foot cell," Loya told WND in a telephone interview from El Paso. "There are no bars, just a steel door, and no window. He has no television and nothing to do. He is fed in his cell and let out only for one hour after 23 hours in the cell. He is then taken to a room with a television where he is allowed to watch the TV for an hour before he is returned to solitary confinement."

This is your government at work --- punishing those who actually do what they are hired to do.
There is no way I could do it. I get feeling ill just thinking about it. On the TV show "Dirty Jobs" Mike was stuck in a cement truck for a bit as he could not get out a hole in the side of the mixer. I had to get up and leave the room. Maybe I'm a tad claustrophobic. To me being locked up for 23 hours at a time would be pure hell.
Border Patrol agent held in solitary confinement
What document do you speak of?
My government has never hired anyone to empty his pistol at a fleeing, unarmed civilian, then reload and keep firing. The man belongs in prison.
See, this is why I have no respect for Jerome Corsi. He knows this normal but also knows he must hype, twist, and distort to spit out 'redmeat' to all the easily manipulated, who start barking pavlovion like.
A memorandum from the Office of the Inspector General.
Scroll down a bit.
Why is it that the BP Agents picked up the spent shells and failed to report the shooting?
IF these BP Agents are innocent why is it that a Prosecutor appointed by Bush worked for the conviction, a Bush appointee presided over the trial and Bush has refused to issue a pardon?
"IF these BP Agents are innocent why is it that a Prosecutor appointed by Bush worked for the conviction, a Bush appointee presided over the trial and Bush has refused to issue a pardon?"
Believe it or not, that is supposed to be part of the conspiracy.
Hmmmm. What makes you think that the drug smuggler was unarmed? Were you there? 75 Republican Senators and everyone familiar with the facts of this case disagree with your opinion.
LOL!!!!!
Your right ---- LOLOL --- I meant 75 Republican Congressmen.
"Furthermore, Aldrete-Davila was given a green card AND a car, at American taxpayer expense, so that he could drive back and forth between Mexico. Aldrete-Davila later broke his immunity agreement in October 2005, when officers say he attempted to smuggle 1,000 pounds of marijuana into America, while driving this tax-payer funded vehicle! U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton further extended immunity to this additional felony and sealed the indictment from jurors. Aldrete-Davilas arrest record was expunged, and a gag order was issued. The jury was not informed of the second smuggling arrest, and Sutton issued a public statement that Aldrete-Davila was never arrested on drug charges."
"So what you are saying is that the BushBots believe that the President is part of a conspiracy that stipulates that we must protect Mexican drug smugglers by jailing innocent BP Agents?"
Yes, go back and look at some of the many threads related to these two guys and you will see conspiracy theories in abundance.
One of the major conspiracies, is that Sutton is a republican that was appointed by our republican president, so that means they are in cahoots to railroad these two innocent fellows, and (I guess) break the BP, and lead them all to quit.
If you have just got started on this case, then man do you have an experience coming.
It seems like only yesterday that Clinton was in cahoots with the drug smugglers working out of Mena, Arkansas but today they are all on board with the theory that Bush is in cahoots with a Mexican Drug Smuggler and against the innocent BP Agents.
Its a Mad, Mad, Mad World!!!
The BP agents stated that he was unarmed. He was running away from them, they knew he was unarmed, and they shot at him anyway. That's criminal behavior, and they are being punished by prison time.
If they did discharge their weapon inappropriately, that is a matter for the Border Patrol to handle internally. The men should have been fined, fired, demoted, whatever according to agency disciplinary rules. It is handled that way in every branch of government from the police force to the military.
Also, they were found guilty under a statute that does not apply: the use of a gun during the commission of a crime. But they weren't committing a crime. They were doing their duty protecting the border. So that statute didn't apply to them.
This Johnny Sutton is another Niphong.
