It's not about keeping him safe. All prisoners go through this. We had a young friend in trouble with drugs and had to spend some time in prison. He had to go though this same procedure.

There is no way I could do it. I get feeling ill just thinking about it. On the TV show "Dirty Jobs" Mike was stuck in a cement truck for a bit as he could not get out a hole in the side of the mixer. I had to get up and leave the room. Maybe I'm a tad claustrophobic. To me being locked up for 23 hours at a time would be pure hell.

I feel the same way. Being locked up in a small space, I would go nuts. To think that people live that way for years is horrifying.
