"Although I agree with the wife, I don't think it's a very smart strategy to insult the President publicly while he's considering the idea of pardoning her husband."

I disagree. She needs to hit him right between the eyes with this for all the world to see. The world that matters (the illegals and the drug smugglers) have stood up and taken notice of President Bush's inaction in this case. He has known about this case since the beginning and those men should never have even seen the inside of that cell. Any delay by George Bush on this is criminal, pure and simple. He needs to stand up and defend these guys and call out anybody that dare criticize.

He's still the leader of this country. He ought to try acting like one.

It must be 'trendy' for politicians to appear in the pocket of drug dealers / drug cartels. clinton / gore did such, now george has done such.

agree completely!! and what has Monica Ramos to lose by telling the truth? Too many posters here do not know the facts of the case and are misrepresenting what happened. Not to mention they take the word of a drug smuggler against those of the Border Patrol agents.

He's acting more like the guardian of Mexico than the guardian of America's borders.

Even a leftie like FDR wouldn't have tolerated this invasion.

Do you really expect the president to step in before the facts are heard?
