I counted the Pelosi blinks vs. the Cheney blinks. She blinked between 10-12 for every one of his. Actually, when he blinked, it was a quick double blink but then she would blink at least ten times before he blinked again. So which one is the alien?Which one had the nictitating membranes?
To: jveritas
He has to read a teleprompt about his personal story!
So now we can't criticize Webb because his relatives served in war?

" Is it just me, or is Webb a little short on breath? "
No, it's not you.
His cadence is off and his voice goes up and down while he lists an endless array of the horrors of living in America.
I hope no one with suicidal tendencies is listening-Webb will push them over the edge.
The framed picture that he slept with for years is the capper.
Get the hook.

Are you jealous?
Or do you just like to pay lots of taxes?

The President was great tonight.Agreed. I was particularly impressed with the foreign policy part of his speech.

Wait a minute, Webb warned the pres before the war started it wouldn't work? How so?
Here we go... father served, back to me, my son. Sheesh, why would he let his son go to this 'failed war'? Why did he tour around saying he was wearing his son's combat boots when he was still in training during the runoff?
Nevermind.

Sadly, Ali it isn't unless you are in the minority who has no employer health insurance or on Medicare or Medicaid. Those of us with health insurance will now be taxed on that insurance and I can bet the employers will not increase pay, that to make up the difference.
Over the years health insurance has been a benefit, given by many employers in lieu of higher pay... Under this plan employers will now start to shed those plans and dump their employees into the general market with the masses.

No, the president said it would be good if we all made more money. The democrats say that rich people have too much money so we should take it from them, while giving a few people a tiny raise to a minuscule amount and call it a gift.

What an arrogant, angry pompous man. And showing us his father in a photo? I just muted him.

Yep....no doubt about it!! Between him and pelosi, the average American SHOULD be getting a tad bit nervous tonight at what they have elected to office!! I hope so. Now he is going into the MFSO speech. Like he is the only person with a son in harms way. NOT! Cheap tawdry shot.

"Flatter, fairer" tax reform? Social Security reform? Medicare was expanded. Interior enforcement was slashed dramatically. He's been lying about his amnesty scheme. Has he meaningfully addressed energy problems? Pork projects have run wild. Deficits on-going.
Tonight he talked about fiscal discipline and shown no record on it over the past six years. Just before he was indicted, Tom Delay was saying the budget was as efficient as it could be!
Appropriating money for a fence is not the same as actually doing the *WORK*. San Diego is still waiting for the infamous existing fence gap known as "smuggler's gulch" to be finished. It's been waiting since the Clinton years. There's money, there's no longer environmental barriers and yet it's still wide open. The extra border patrol has been a severely underfunded mandate not unlike Clinton's "100,000 new cops."
