The obvious tactic when the left is firing is to shoot back. These RINOs think they can duck and cover.

I distrust all politicians. They're all speaking whatever words work to keep or enhance their own power, and as insiders they have more in common with each other than with those they govern. I fully expect nothing but socialist evil from Democrat politicians, so the socialism touted by Republican politicians instead to steal the thunder feels worse because it also dashes hope of being on a side that's decent and winning and principally opposed to such nonsense.

Nope.

I admire and respect the President as a person and man I just don't agree that most of his policies are worth supporting.

I think that a lot of you are on the verge of personality cult and swallow a lot of garbage supporting him.

IMO he has done a poor job in many realms giving the liberals the upper hand too many times.

Sadly, I'm not dissappointed because I never expected much.

I didn't vote for him; I voted against Kerry.

. . . of course the same can be said for President Bush and the War on Terror!

I'm off to 'ride' my treadmill while I watch the President's speech!

As an earlier poster said, criticism is not necessarily bashing.

"Where does that leave your argument?"

Not as a pessimist

I'm sure the President would like to act like more of a conservative if his conservative base acted tougher with his critics.

I am more upset with the Rino's in Congress and The Senate.

Republicans punish their own while the Democrats reward theirs for failure.

When we get down on the President its because we too reward the Democrats for failure

We're here...I'm just afraid of the health care tax.

Wish I understood it more...I could be wrong.

Politics in DC is full contact and those lacking the guts to play by those rules should leave.

We don't need "finesse" players!

"You might be more comfortable where they all drink the same kool-aid."

Interesting choice of words. Frankly, it might be about time to 'drink the koolaid', if we are all going to go at each others throats and destroy our party from within...and without!! (rolling eyes)

We should all say a prayer for our President and Commander in Chief tonight! Never in the history of America has a President been so mistreated and maligned by the liberals and the media!!

[Just in case you're 'talking' to me: What I posted is not Reagan bashing, just a little Reagan perspective . . . If we're going to use Reagan as a benchmark, we must be accurate in our historical assessment.]

I want every stupid pathetic nimwit who decided to "teach the Republicans a lesson" in November 2006 to realize that they have damaged our country. They put Nancy Pelosi up there. They gave the Senate to Dingy Harry. And they sold out our troops in Iraq.
