What is a Park Interpreter? The job title "park interpreter" often conjures up visions of a language interpreter – someone who speaks French or Spanish or German or Japanese and can translate written or spoken English for park visitors. Although there is no doubt that some park interpreters are able to translate from English to French or Spanish or German or Japanese, the languages that park interpreters translate for a living are the languages of Nature and Culture and History. Park interpreters have the best of all jobs. We get to play in the creek, chase butterflies, and watch birds. We treat toads to a meal, talk to turkeys, and flirt with fireflies. We step back in time, walk a mile in another person’s moccasins, and imagine the future. Park interpreters serve as links between a park and its visitors. Interpreters unlock the secrets of Nature and of distant times in an effort to enrich the visitor’s experience. Interpreters provide both information and inspiration – challenging the intellect and touching the emotions. In other words, we discover "cool stuff" in our parks and share it with others.

Ahhhhh, I'm sorry you cannot be here with us. Never fear though, the USPO will raise rates to keep their "excellent" service going.

I love to read William W. Johnstone, Michael Connerly, Grace Livingston Hill, and any kind of mystery. I am crocheting a cap for this cool weather. It is not turning out like I wanted it to but I do know how to unwind the yarn and start over!!!! I also like Patricia Cornwell.

Not only are they anti bush but in many cases they come over as anti everything apart from their own narrow view of the world.
Diversity is a swear word to them and they can see no way but there's.
And as Ohio said the other night they force one to criticize President Reagan in order to support George W Bush. These people want to disrupt and divide and I seriously doubt if they are or have every been conservatives or Republicans.

Lol I think the problem this time is the seller and not the post office. I bought it through amazon and I paid extra for "expedited shipping" but I think that still means whenever the seller feels like getting off his couch and mailing it. I also found out today that, although the school knew I was in DC all of last semester, no one bothered to tell our post office. They just kept shoving all my stuff into my mailbox...including the thing I was supposed to fill out so they can spell my name correctly on my diploma as well as a nomination for a who's who in American colleges and universities (with a due date of November something so I apparently wasn't considered since I never sent that in). Oh, how I love my school. *rolls eyes*

Who is the park interpreter? I couldn't read them all. It went up just as I was about to begin so I just grabbed the heroes to focus on.
