He always has been one of my favorite actors. For some reason, Hollywood didn't seem to appreciate him. Why he wasn't nominated for an Oscar for "The Poseidon Adventure" I'll never understand.

Best wishes, Ernest. I won't either he and Shelly were the best ones in that movie and Gene Hackman the one closing the steam valve. Ernie played his part very well in that movie.
