Rudy ain't gonna win in the south. I guarantee it

A new Strategic Vision (R) poll takes an early look at the Georgia primary -- currently scheduled for March 4, 2008 -- and finds Rudy Giuliani and Sen. Hillary Clinton leading their party's races for the presidential nomination.
When Republicans were polled on whom they would support in 2008, Giuliani received 27%; Sen. John McCain received 24%; Newt Gingrich 12% and Mitt Romney received 7%.
On the Democratic side, Clinton led with 27%; Sen. Barack Obama had 20% and John Edwards received 15%.

This is only because most voters don't know Rudy's social views.

He wins polls because he was made out as a hero after 9/11.

He has name recognition to his advantage for now.

More Americans know his name than those that know the name of NY governor Pataki.

The south is filled with evangelicals, and once they pay attention to Rudy, he's toast.
