Trembling for my country because God is just

Trembling for my country because God is just

A pro-abortion column appeared in the Friday, January 19 edition of the largest circulation newspaper in my home state, written by the executive director of the state chapter of the ACLU and the president of the state affiliate of Planned Parenthood. They argue, of course, in support of a woman's right to destroy innocent human life in the womb, relying on the so-called "right to privacy."

The heart of their argument is that "the decision whether and when to become a parent is among the most private a person can make," that we must "keep the government out of your home and out of your decisions about the way you raise your family," and that our society must protect "a woman's right to choose and control her own reproductive destiny."

But surely the ACLU doesn't believe that any act must be protected as long as it is done in private. Rape is done in private; domestic abuse is done in private; child sexual abuse is done in private; murder is done in private. Not even the ACLU would argue that the right to privacy protects anything and everything an individual does as long as it is done behind closed doors.

The reason is simple: the acts I've mentioned in the paragraph above all involve physical harm to another human being.

This means the question for our friends at the ACLU and Planned Parenthood is straightforward: is that a baby in a woman's womb, or not? If it is in fact a baby, then suddenly we are no longer talking about a woman's right to do whatever she wants with her own body. We are now talking about whether she has the right to do whatever she wants to someone else's body.

We are no longer talking about the state invading her privacy, but about her invading the privacy of another human being, dismembering her, and tossing her remains into a garbage bag as if she was medical waste.

Right now the most dangerous place in American for a female is not the inner city but the womb of her mother.

That's why Planned Parenthood and the ACLU can never, ever, despite abundant evidence to the contrary, admit the humanity and personhood of a baby in the womb. For were they to do that, they would be forced to admit that that baby has rights just as much as anybody else.

The Judeo-Christian tradition, on the other hand, affirms equal rights for unborn women, unlike the ACLU, which only appears to believe in equal rights for women who have been lucky enough to get themselves born.

4D ULTRASOUND PICTURES PROVE HUMANITY OF UNBORN BABIES

Because of their commitment to allow the unimpeded extermination of the unborn, Planned Parenthood and the ACLU must refuse to look at evidence provided by the latest advances in medical technology that demonstrate the humanity of babies in the womb.

They thus have become the equivalent of the establishment in Galileo's time, which refused to consider hard scientific evidence because it did not square with their preconceptions of what, in their minds, just had to be true.

New 4D ultrasound technology (one step beyond 3D) has made it possible for us to view 'real-time' video of babies in the womb as they move. A new National Geographic documentary features the work of London-based obstetrician Professor Stuart Campbell, who is the pioneer of 4D scans in Britain.

Videos he has produced of twins and triplets in the womb are described by a journalist this way: "A twin leans over and kisses the cheek of her sister in a heart-warming picture that would not be out of place in any family home. Yet these siblings are not even born and the astonishing images have been captured on a new 'four-dimensional' ultrasound scan of the womb ... This advanced technology has allowed scientists to capture the development of foetuses (sic) like never before, including twins and triplets jostling for space in the womb while grasping each other's hand and even faces."

The obstetrician himself says, "It was fascinating to see the babies in more detail than ever before. I was amazed at the detail in the faces — smiles, blinking — and the interaction between multiple foetuses." The journalist goes on to observe that the videos show the "fetal bodies" developing in minute detail — it was even possible to "see their eyelids opening" — and even showed unborn siblings "grasping each other's hands and even faces" as they "jostl(e) for space in the womb."

Notice how the left slips and unwittingly acknowledges the humanity of unborn babies when they forget for the moment about the issue of abortion. Although the doctor is careful to use the word "foetus" — he slips once and calls them "babies" -, the reporter can't help herself: she uses words like "twin," "twins," "triplets," "sister," "siblings," and words like "cheek," "hands," and "faces," instead of the words and phrases she is supposed to use, like "tissue" and "products of conception."

It is a monstrous thing that we live in a society which elevates the destruction of babies in the womb to the level of a constitutional right.

I am reminded of the words of Thomas Jefferson, who said, "Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; (and) that His justice cannot sleep forever." May God forgive us for what we have done to babies made in His image.

Even though God's judgement may be severe against this country, the souls of those that believe in Him and keep His commandments will be saved.

Bingo. Unfortunately, this practice has been around for centuries.

I know we will be saved, but don't you hate to see it going down around you. My daddy's family fought indians in New York state hundreds of years ago for this country. I just hate seeing this happen.

I share the writer's concerns. I don't expect some overt act of God necessarily, although that's always His option, but more the consequences of Him withdrawing His protection. And those consequences come slowly enough that few can put 2 and 2 together.

Early on, many were taken in by the "when does life begin" fuzzy argument - and I believe that even the Roe opinion stated that if it were ever shown to be an actual human life, the opinion would become invalid. Medical technology has shown just that, but the practitioners of this barbaric sacrament have by now become so entrenched that they will not be moved by much of anything humans can bring to bear on them.

This is it in a nutshell.

Seems to me I heard that Barack Obama even voted to deny medical care for those babies who survive an abortion.

How deprived of human decency can there be?

There can be no defense for this slaughter of the innocence.

that we must "keep the government out of your home and out of your decisions about the way you raise your family,"

So the ACLU is now going to ferociously defend people who want to homeschool or keep their kids from having to attend certain garbage programs in public schools? What frauds!

The article in itself is a dichotomy in relation to other issues the left spews about. Government invading the privacy of the home - yeah, right!

The heart of their argument is that "the decision whether and when to become a parent is among the most private a person can make"

That "private" moment the female decided to spread her legs is when she decided to become a parent.

' "the decision whether and when to become a parent is among the most private a person can make," that we must "keep the government out of your home and out of your decisions about the way you raise your family," and that our society must protect "a woman's right to choose and control her own reproductive destiny." '

There are plenty of ways one can "control [one's] reproductive destiny" without committing abortion. There are no restrictions birth control, nor on abstinence. Of course, the abortion lobby hates to even have abstinence taught to preteens. It's odd to talk about "controlling destiny," anyway, since destiny usually connotes something beyond one's control. But the abortion lobby wants us to think no one can control their own behavior, so they have to kill the innocent victim of that behavior.

And those consequences come slowly enough that few can put 2 and 2 together.

We have killed 17% of our population. 17% of car buyers, 17% of baby products, etc, 17% of our armed forces, 17% of those to pay into social security. 17% of caregivers who will take care of us as we age.

We have replaced those with illegals who in many cases hate America, and us.

the opinion would become invalid. Medical technology has shown just that,

Have you seen the "In the womb", and "multiples in the womb" videos?

They are great!

I believe we our righteousness comes only from the blood of Christ.

But what if when we stand before Christ he asks why abortion was allowed to be legal in the free nation He gave us.

Will He ask these "Christians":, "What did you do to stop it?, "Did even you vote"?

A great piece by Brian Fischer. Thank you for posting it.

To American babies, the threat from terrorists pales in comparison to the threat from the Planned Barrenhood knives.

Your title alone is spot-on. And we should! I sometimes wonder if Revelation 19 is speaking of the US. The big clue is the ship captains, as they watch "Tarshish" burn say, "Now who is going to buy all our stuff?".

Jer 19:5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake [it], neither came it into my mind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess, according to you, millions of we Christians are not saved as we did not keep ALL the commandments. Give us a hint as to how we can live without breaking even one of them. And of course you know that if you break ONE commandment it is as if you have broken them ALL. (according to the Bible) Have you broken any in your life?

I'm only writing this because of so many posters either don't know scripture or write faster than they think. To be saved, one only has to "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." Commandments are really cool but they don't save anyone.

Hey, Planned Parenthood - So if I'm a parent today, and decide *not* to be one tomorrow, it's ok to kill my toddler?

If not, why not?

After all, I'm only deciding "when and whether" I'd like to become a parent and/or childless.
