Hillary Clinton Agrees With Schlussel: Obama Suspicious, Deceptive on Muslim Background

Well, after all of the left-wing websites and their readers' hate-mail attacking me for pointing out Barack Obama's Muslim background, in "Barack Hussein Obama: Once a Muslim, Always a Muslim," I wonder if they will now attack their little darling, Hillary Clinton, who is now pursuing the legitimate questions I first asked on this site.

Looks like her camp agreed with my take and is going even further, according to an Insight Magazine article sent to me by my friend, Ruth King:

Hillary's Team Has Questions About Obama's Muslim Background

Are the American people ready for an elected president who was educated in a Madrassa as a young boy and has not been forthcoming about his Muslim heritage?

This is the question Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's camp is asking about Sen. Barack Obama. An investigation of Mr. Obama by political opponents within the Democratic Party has discovered that Mr. Obama was raised as a Muslim by his stepfather in Indonesia. Sources close to the background check, which has not yet been released, said Mr. Obama, 45, spent at least four years in a so-called Madrassa, or Muslim seminary, in Indonesia.

"He was a Muslim, but he concealed it," the source said. "His opponents within the Democrats hope this will become a major issue in the campaign."

When contacted by Insight, Mr. Obama's press secretary said he would consult with "his boss" and call back. He did not.

Sources said the background check, conducted by researchers connected to Senator Clinton, disclosed details of Mr. Obama's Muslim past. The sources said the Clinton camp concluded the Illinois Democrat concealed his prior Muslim faith and education.

"The background investigation will provide major ammunition to his opponents," the source said. "The idea is to show Obama as deceptive."

In two best-selling autobiographies-"The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream" and "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance"-Mr. Obama, born in Honolulu where his parents met, mentions but does not expand on his Muslim background, alluding only to his attendance at a "predominantly Muslim school."

The sources said the young Obama was given the name Hussein by his Muslim father, which the Illinois Democrat rarely uses in public.

His father was black and came from Kenya. Mr. Obama's mother, the daughter of a farmer, came from Wichita, Kansas. Mr. Obama's parents divorced when he was two years old. His father returned to Kenya.

Later, Mr. Obama's mother married an Indonesian student and the family moved to Jakarta. . . .

The sources said the background check concerned Mr. Obama's years in Jakarta. In Indonesia, the young Obama was enrolled in a Madrassa and was raised and educated as a Muslim. Although Indonesia is regarded as a moderate Muslim state, the U.S. intelligence community has determined that today most of these schools are financed by the Saudi Arabian government and they teach a Wahhabi doctrine that denies the rights of non-Muslims.

Although the background check has not confirmed that the specific Madrassa Mr. Obama attended was espousing Wahhabism, the sources said his Democratic opponents believe this to be the case—and are seeking to prove it. The sources said the opponents are searching for evidence that Mr. Obama is still a Muslim or has ties to Islam.

Mr. Obama attends services at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago's South Side. However, he is not known to be a regular parishioner.

"Obama's education began a life-long relationship with Islam as a faith and Muslims as a community," the source said. "This has been a relationship that contains numerous question marks."

The sources said Mr. Obama spent at least four years in a Muslim school in Indonesia. They said when Mr. Obama was 10, his mother and her second husband separated. She and her son returned to Hawaii.

"Then the official biography begins," the source said.

Barack Obama very conspicuously omits these important facts. He's never directly addressed them and didn't return the Insight Magazine's reporters queries about his Muslim background. Why? Why can't he acknowledge his Muslim background and disavow it? Don't watch for him ever to do that. And that's why it's suspicious.

The facts about Obama's Muslim background raise a LOT of questions. Legitimate questions about a religion dominated by extremist strains that openly call for the destruction of America and the West.

Anyone who does not want to look into the questions and, instead, attacks those who ask them, is equally suspect in their intentions and attitudes toward the continued freedom of this country.

More astounding to me was the trashing of Jerry Brown and Tsongas by Clinton. It was one of the most devious political stunts I have ever witnessed.

Clinton leaked to Ted Koppel that Jerry Brown had used drugs when Governor of California. He provided "witnesses" whom Ted Koppel allowed to appear anonymously on Nightline with bags over their heads. They denounced Brown, Clinton operators leaked Paul Tsongas' medical records, and the rest is history.

The Clintons play dirty and for keeps. Obama better watch his back.

They try very hard, but are not convincing.

They hit everything else. Unless there is some evidence to support the "Wahabbi" claim in an otherwise thoroughly debunked "exposé", I can't see why we should trust an email circular. If it misplaces Obama's father in Jakarta, what else is it misplacing in Jakarta?

Are there any madrassas that are not Wahhabi? They seem to be very few and far between.

"madrassa" is an arabic word for "school." it is most commonly used in the muslim world to refer to religious schools. so, to answer your question, yes, there are.

Look back to 1992

Agreed...but this time people are expecting it, and there is no love lost for Hillary in many Dem circles. As someone else pointed out, even algore could emerge in a 3rd party wacko movement.

If conservatives were clever enough to fuel this...

Are there any madrassas that are not Wahhabi?

Even though some aren't, it doesn't really matter much. The Wahabis are just one of dozens upon dozens of extremist sects in the mahometan world. And contrary to the "moderate muslims" myth we all hear about in the MSM, the majority of the overwhelming mahometan world subscribes to beliefs that any sensible American would consider extremist - e.g. a duty to pursue jihad against the infidels, a belief that non-muslims are inferior human beings to muslims, a belief in global islamic government, a desire to establish sharia law. These are all basic tenets of "mainstream" islam espoused by "mainstream" mahometan clerics. It is true that many of these different sects also hate each other, but their end goals are the same: worldwide islamotopia, the only difference being the sect that's on top running the place.

In other words, Obama could have attended a shi'ite school and it would've been just as bad as a Wahabbi one. The problem is not the sect that ran his school - it is the fact that he attended a muslim theological school.

It should also be noted that muslim schools are NOT the equivalent of what we would think of as a baptist or catholic or jewish private gradeschool in the United States. A catholic high school in the U.S., for example, usually means all the usual subjects - reading, math, science, history etc, - plus some extra courses in theology or bible studies.

Islamic schools regardless of the sect are structured VERY differently from a jewish or christian school in the U.S. They teach how to think in methods of the koran and hadith, with all else being subordinate to the words of these religious texts. The subject matter is often a farce by any normal academic standard. "Government" in an islamic school equals lessons sharia law, often coupled with propaganda about how islamic government is superior to western democracy. "Philosophy" consists of rote memorization of various koranic interpreters. "Economics" consists of lessons about how it is sinful to enter certain contracts with infidels. Islamic "mathematics" derive predominantly from two sources: (1) astronomical sciences predicated on calculating the direction of mecca to pray, and (2) superstitious koranic numerologies where unlocking secret wishing wells and finding magical 12th imams are emphasized as signs of obtaining islamotopia. "History" in an islamic school consists of three things: (1) the life of mahomet, as claimed by whatever sect runs the place, (2) a version of islamic history after mahomet that is favorable to whatever sect runs the place coupled with lessons on how all the other competing versions of islamic history are evil and wrong, and (3) a bunch of non-historical anti-western propaganda about evil european crusader colonialists "abusing" poor innocent muslims. Sometimes they add (4) anti-semitic pseudo-histories about jewish people designed to gain sympathy for palestinian political causes in Israel.

If you have some free time google around for various islamic school websites. Some of them post their lesson plans and syllabi online. And much of it is VERY comical - some of these places teach entire courses on why credit cards are an evil usurous western intrusion upon goat trading. But what you'll also discover is how much they are lacking in terms of the basics of reading, writing, mathematics, sciences etc.

There are several problems with the Snopes article.

1. Snopes relies entirely on the Obama campaign's own characterization of the school to dismiss it. In reality Obama's campaign has plenty of reason to lie.

2. Snopes takes Obama's words about that school and his religious upbringing as authoritative and unquestionable truths. In reality Obama's campaign has plenty of reason to lie.

3. Snopes says that Obama's mother was a non-religious atheist who didn't go to church. In reality Obama's mother was a practicing Unitarian-Universalist - a far left wing religious sect in the United States that claims to be Christian in the "Jesus was a philosopher" sense but denies virtually all Christian doctrine.

In fact, Obama's parents are a classic example of the strange love affair between muslims and white liberals. In this instance a pot smoking hippie unitarian lady ran off to college, met a jihadi deadbeat on a student visa, agreed with his radical political views, spent a couple evenings around the hookah cursing "American imperialism," got herself knocked up, and 9 months later out pops little baby Barack. This was no chance coincidence either cause she did the same thing all over again when Barack's jihadi deadbeat dad ditched her. She went and found herself another muslim on a student visa, got pregnant, and soon enough little Barack had a sister.

It's typical liberal hippie college student behavior. The unitarians are one of those "free love" churches that celebrates and flocks toward "religious diversity" just because it's the multicultural thing to do. They're actually attracted to seeking out and having "cultural exchanges" with the most bizarre, whacked out, extremist, fringe religious cults they can find, and that's no exaggeration. If you looked around the internet a little you could probably find the schedule of a unitarian church in the United States for next weekend where the "service" consists of a lecture from an Imam. You could probably even find one that has a guest speaker who practices "witchcraft." In fact, a unitarian church got sued a few years ago by a "Wicca" guest speaker who claimed they were trying to steal her magic spells!

Just remember the following and it's all you need to know about this guy:

white liberal hippie unitarian + jihadi muslim immigrant on a student visa = Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.

Whenever Hillary has any problems in financing her campaign she can always go back to her expertise in buying cattle futures on the commodities market with the assistance of donors to her husband's campaigns.
