Two current trends in the general decay of English are picking up speed:

1. meaning inflation;
2. unconjugated verbs.

The first would be a mortal wound if not treated; the second is merely obnoxious.

2. unconjugated verbs.

What be the problem with them?

Actually, I can't stand people who end sentences with prepositions. That is habbit up with which I cannot put.

I agree with the first being a mortal wound -- English is increasingly ambiguous

To give you one example -- the word sofa in English can have multiple translations in Polish (which drove me crazy) depending on whether it is a flat sofa, a foldable one etc. etc.). Sanskrit, from what I hear is mathematically correct and there are other options. If meaning inflation increases then the language may be abandoned for a more precise language.
