Any poll with the option "I don't know" is dumb.

If you don't know, then you shouldn't be asked to participate in the poll.

There have been some polls here on FR where if I am not up on the topic, and don't have an opinion; I don't vote on the poll.

Great point...that is why I usually automatically put lump them with the "no" votes..

I should know better than to even pay attention to polls...we have been warned, over and over how slanted they are...

But, when our GOP politicians get beat over the head with them...and are asked to "explain them"..it gets frustrating.

When Wolf Blitzer had on Maxine Waters and Mike Pence today...he let Maxine go on and on about her group's agenda...but when he went to Mike Pence..he flashed up Pres. Bush's personal poll ratings!!!

Mike Pence shouldn't have all of his time taken up trying to defend a probably rigged poll....he should be able to put forth his, and his conservative House members goals.

Exactly! An an example is the current poll. I have no Idea who "Ron Paul" is. I can't answer the poll the way it is structured. If there was a category "Never Heard Of Him" That would be my choice! It would give a better picture of this guys chances. If the majority of the responses are, "they never head of him" what does that tell his supporters?
