Dick Morris Looks To 'Swift Boat' Hillary

Dick Morris, longtime former aide to Bill Clinton, is soliciting funds to finance an expose - documentary film of Senator Hillary Clinton who announced last week her intention to run for president in 2008.

In a letter sent to Republican mailing lists this week, Morris asks for contributions of $25 to $100 to help in his efforts.

"If you liked how the Swift Boat Veterans turned the tide against John Kerry, you understand how a top Clinton aide can turn the tables and stop a Clinton style liberal from becoming the next president of the United States."

Reminds me of an argument I had with a guy that swore the Jews were tipped off by the Bush clan after a meeting of Skull and Bones while at the New World Order Convention.

Do not fund this, people. Moore sucked money out of the pockets of the Left and that money did not go to candidate campaigns in 2004. If that money had gone to candidate campaigns, the results would have been superior.

Whatever money you planned on sending him, leave in your pocket and send it to whoever is the eventual GOP presidential nominee.

I gave money to the "Swifties" twice. It wasn't a great deal, but I truly believed in these fine gentlemen. And my money helped them do a fine job! As far as Dick Morris is concerned, I just don't know. I'll just wait and see.

I was planning on going to the reunion, but my wife's father, who is coming up on 90, is ill and isn't expected to make it more than another few months, so she went to Viet Nam to stay with him for a couple of months. That pretty much saps out our budget for the reunion. The both of us plan on appending the one after though.
I was in-country from Dec '69 thru Dec '71. Qui Nhon for 4-1/2 months, Cat Lo for 6 weeks and Vung Tau for 18 months. I never got the chance to go out with a US crew, I did go out with the VNN swifts frequently as liaison because I could speak Vietnamese. When all the PCFs got turned over the the VNNs, I got sent to the CSC in Vung Tau so that I could talk with them on the radio when they were on patrol.

I,too, gave to swift boat twice, but I am really leary about this project. the swift boat folks really had a message that needed to get out. I don't regret that it one bit.
