I was out with my 4 (well behaved) children at a store a few weeks ago, and a women loudly told her husband "she should have had her tubes tied."
The hostility is amazing, but I am not sorry. I am raising educated, independent, conservative future adults.
Time to turn around and say, "I'll pray for you......that you might be enlightened about God's plan for mankind."
I've used the first half of that statement......wasn't quite brave enough at the time I had five children with me in the store to use the second half.
But I would use it now!

The woman who said you "should have had your tubes tied", probably has exactly that kind of relationship with whatever family she does have.
In a few years she will be sitting alone and unattended in a nursing home paying the price for her selfishness.
That's out of line - just as criticizing someone for not having children is out of line. It's a personal decision either way.
