Teddy wants to use diplomatic means to deal with Iraq and to cover a withdrawal. And, my goodness, Massachusetts Fats thinks that the Bush administration has made things worse in Iran!

This must be classic libspeak on websites and shows that we do not frequent.
I heard a revealing discussion on a Jewish hour radio show this morning - several Jewish Democrats were debating a Jewish Republican. The Democrats blamed Republicans for making Israel a wedge issue within the Jewish community.
As he was challenged on his statement that Jewish Democrats also support Israel, he noted that Iran became a problem after Bush invaded Iraq.
It is my firm conviction that Democrats lie to themselves. They make up stuff, repeat it often and then believe it.
The Republican ended with a clincher, (from my perspective) by saying which party is for a strong United States, and which party favors a strong United Nations.

And by the way.......... why in the world is the Presidential election of 2008 starting so, so early? Just a thought, running against President Bush? The dems and media have done such a thorough job of tarnishing his image.

Not only is it too early, it makes me very angry, especially when people like Hillary was only re-elected to the Senate and we will be paying her salary for the next two years to campaign. This group, on both sides, are so anxious to out Hillary, Hillary, that they started the campaign on 11/08. With such a narcissistic group I hope none of them make it to the finish line. I don't want a President who puts himself above all else in life.

I think that maybe some right wing conservationists need to say these things more maybe they also need to promote their findings.
Somehow though they feel that they will be thought of out of step with the rest of science and will be treated as outcasts by their peers.
A bit like creationists are treated by the science community.

Newt never made an issue of who should take his advice, which drives our side nuts. He's more interested in conservative solutions than politics, which I believe is one of his failings. Newt cannot accept the thought of Democrats not wanting what's best for America.

to take this a step farther, Guiliani puts California into play for the GOP and if Hillary chooses Richardson she puts California back into her column.

Once a few conservatives get in it we may very well see Newt's ideas take hold and Newt deciding to support rather than run.
Personally, I would prefer this. However, I still have tremendous respect for him and would love to see him as UN ambassador etc..

I agree with you, thus his binding with Hillary on healthcare. IT is also why Clinton was so able to bring him down and get him to resign only to have Newt clear his name AFTER he left office.

We're in for twenty or so months of her....
^^^^^^
Her strategy is to numb all of her opposition into forgetting to vote or even to run from political talk in 2008 -----classic aversion therapy!!!

Well from the looks of it the Repubos got absolutely nothing to offer so dull can win in 2008 with enough money and enough fawning press. I suspect we have only taken the 1st sip of the bitter cup we poured ourselves Nov 7th. Short of another 09-11 style attack the sheep in this country have gone back to sleep and simply refuse to wake up.

That's a good point, but you have to remember Richardson is not a blatant Spanish surname, and if he has to work callyfornia by speaking Spanish everywhere he goes that could backfire.
I wonder if the average Spanish voter who would vote that way on a single issue basis actually knows that Richardson has a Hispanic background/heritage?
