So true. However, their preoccupation here does seem to collide w/their One World view, doesn't it?

Not at all. Some pigs are more equal than others and when the democrat pigs are at the top of the sty than it doesn't really matter where the rest of the animals are, or even if they eat, or what the farm is named or, how much blood and treasure are spilled to keep them there. The rest of the barnyard are just tools for them to be at the top of the pile.

That is the same as the "one world order".

Regards,

TS

Good grief, CNN is trying to rehabilitate Carter/Mondale. Carter is repeating every malicious lie that has been told about this Administration (they spied on citizens without a warrant, the VP exerted pressure to shape intelligance).

They want us all to forget how horrible those 4 year were with Carter blaming every ill in the American people. Do they forget that he botched everything up so badly that people started questioning whether the job of President had become just too much for one man. The reality, of course, was that that particular man was way too small for the job.

Along came Reagan (thank you, Lord), and the questions of whether the job was too big for one man faded away.

I just listened to Brit, and he is on target, again. President Bush must have results, and soon, in Iraq or this phase of the WOT will come to a bad pass. Most of the American public does not have the stomach for the hard work, at present. Retreat is preferable to many. Why make trouble, maybe the Iranians etc. will come around- maybe I'll win the lottery.

Years of ease and neglect of the serious issues confronting our nation have taken their toll. I'm past the point of blaming the cowardly opposition to the WOT. The weakened majority is probably going to get what it wants in the short term and probably what will shake them to their core in the long run. Newt also did a great job of summing up the Iraq effort today; he is correct in terming the situation there as one campaign in the larger struggle. But the US majority is no longer into struggle and sacrifice for a secure future.

Even the Right is more and more drifting into a passion for debate as opposed to seeing the Leftist threat and uniting against it. No, there is now very likely only division and turmoil ahead for some time whilst our enemies grow stronger. This country is badly broken, as Newt pointed out. And no Pub leader on the scene now has much of a chance to draw the Right together. Brit nailed it; President Bush's new plan had best work; or, IMHO, we are headed for one party control of the government, the wrong party.

They've been all over this from the beginning... still, consider the source.

Yep, caught that too. One can only hope old media starts paying attention as well.

I also liked the Freeper comment on Hillary not having any debates. I can see her getting away with that as far as Republicans go but it will be interesting to see if she can get away with it for Democrats who also want the nomination.

Much like the bohemian style aristocrats who thought the french revolution should happen but were shocked to find that despite their useful idiot status, they were still sent to the chopping block.

Or, "Communism is the perfect system it's just that the right people haven't tried it yet."

If our soil is too unstable we would concrete it in but still use the fence panel concept.

You can buy clips etc to fix fence panels to the stakes

Yeah it is quite hilarious!
Problem for the rats is that Americans revere the Jack Bauer's of the world while they "put up" with people like the clintons, huge difference.

All true, but I continue to wish we could try the H beam method. It sure would be easier to change out boards that have gone bad, instead of having to do major repairs on the fence.

Jimmy Carter just said that this Administration has not spent one day in the last 6 years in an effort to bring peace to Israel. That is going to come as a big surprise to Dr. Rice.

IMHO Newt is as much of a maverick as McCain is.
