Arrest in racial slurs case (Dirty Dem trick exposed)

COURTHOUSE - Democratic poll worker Jacqueline A. Kilroy, accused of lying to detectives when she claimed that she heard Republican state House candidate Jay R. Moyer make racial slurs against Democratic challenger Netta Young Hughes, is now in custody.

And authorities now believe that the 41-year-old Kilroy was responsible for a second racial complaint filed in connection with that campaign.

"We believe that Jacqueline Kilroy is responsible for the racial text messages," said county District Attorney Bruce L. Castor Jr.

"Jay Moyer and his campaign workers had absolutely nothing to do with either incident," Castor emphasized. Authorities last Friday had issued an arrest warrant for Kilroy, charging her with a misdemeanor charge of making false reports to law enforcement officers.

Kilroy, who is white and used the county's homeless outreach center and shelter as her address, was paid by the Hughes campaign to work the Towamencin 2-3 poll on Election Day. She subsequently alleged that Moyer, who is white, made ethnically disparaging remarks about Hughes, who is black, when he visited the polling site. However, detectives obtained statements from GOP and Democratic poll workers alike that Moyer was not at the poll during the various alleged times Kilroy claimed to have heard the remarks, according to the criminal complaint.

Authorities issued the warrant for Kilroy's arrest after they were unable to locate her at an address she had given in connection with another case. Kilroy subsequently was taken into custody on Wednesday when she arrived at the county courthouse for a scheduled hearing on that unrelated case. She was taken to the Norristown State Hospital where she is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation, according to Castor.

Castor said authorities next week will arrest Kilroy on additional charges alleging she was the source of expletive-filled text messages containing both racial and sexual slurs that were sent to the cell phone of another Democratic campaign worker.

Moyer, a former county treasurer from Lower Salford, defeated Hughes, a former Norristown track star who once worked part-time as executive director of the George Washington Carver Community Center, in the election for the 61st District state House seat.

Moyer defeated Hughes by 103 votes, in a 10,912 (49.1 percent) to 10,809 (48.65 percent) certified vote tally.

Using the mentally ill as poll watchers? The candidates should do at least some checking before associating with just anyone.

Yet Republicans take the high road when campaigning against this scum. The voters have to pick.

It seems the voters like scum. I guess that means the High Priestess of the Liberal DisOrder is looking good for the upcoming erections.

Nah they know exactly what they are doing. If they get busted, the excuse is they are crazy and it gets thrown out or they get "evaluated" and all is forgiven. Dims arent smart but they are devious

Have a Libel suit against her too and have a large punitive judgement to make an example of behavior that wont be tolerated.

For Democrats, this is very typical behavior. It fits the pattern.

Claremont Professor Keri Dunn vandalized her own car and then, before she was exposed as the vandal, led campus "anti-hate" rallies.

Why not? They use them as candidates.
