Glad they found her.
Gretchen on Fox&Friends this morning gave almost worthless Amber Alert notices.
First Alert notice: Missing girl in Oklahoma. [No name, no age, no description, no city, nothing on the abductor.]
Second Alert notice: Missing girl in Oklahoma. Gave her name and showed her picture. [No age, no other description, no city, did mention a white vehicle, nothing on the abductor.]
I wondered when I read the article how the convenience store clerk could have held the suspect until the police arrived. The only way I could imagine is if he or she had a gun.
But at least the girl is now safe and the suspect much more likely to be caught with this additional information.
A brave and intelligent little girl, it sounds like.
and of course, some sleazy lawyer will plead "not guilty" at this guy's upcoming trial.
There are waaaaaay too many of these predators out on the street because the lawyers and the ACLU are helping them.
This girl is only ten years old, but she really was on the ball. She looked for her chance, judged well, and went for it. I bet that she moved quickly. What a kid! She may have saved her own life.
It really pays also to publicize these cases early.
Good for this girl. She is what writers used to call "plucky". I don't know enough about this story to know how she was taken in the first place.
