The new motto of the freaked out Freepers. When in Trouble, When in Doubt, Run in Circles, Scream and Shout!

Remember when conservatism didn't have a weenie wing.

I'm ashamed to be a Republican nowadays. Liberals have no shame and fight for everything they get with all stops pulled out. When are conservatives gonna wise up & fight fire with fire and quit taking the freakin' high road with these vermin? If we don't then we deserve to lose, just like we did last November.

Maybe if people didn't stay home on the very day that matters, we wouldn't be in this situation we find ourselves in.

After all...electing someone like Steele to the Chair would signal the GOP had got its act together and prided itself in sponsering intelligent people with passion that were emininently qualified to repair the damage the administration and Republicans have done the last couple of years among the public as a whole let alone their own base.

Steele. LOL!

How much do you know about Steele? What makes you think he wouldn't have a less-than-a-conservative type problem with the unappeasables.

What if the Republican party hadn't made a left?

Look, you smart mouth, disrespectful no-nothing! ... I have NO problem with breastfeeding in public...not at all! What I have a problem with is women doing it without covering up their breast. Call me a prude, call me whatever you want, but I don't think it's necessary for a woman with a big fat breast sitting out in public exposing it for every other individual that passes by, especially parents walking past with their children, young children. And if you have a problem with THAT, then maybe you need to check your modesty meter! That's one of the big problems with America anymore....there's so little virtue and modesty--two very admirable character traits that at one time played a pivotal role in making America a great country. No thanks to loud-mouth baffoons like you!

Let it be known I have a certain finger extended in your direction. And it's not my thumb.

And as for your finger...stick it in your ear!

He has been very silent on just about everything since he made it to the Senate (he's one of my Senators).

Silent except for making a well-publicized statement advising illegals not to wave the Mexican flag after the first round of demonstrations, not because he was offended by it, but because it hurt their cause.

Silent except for fighting tooth and nail, and working with Democrats, to block oil drilling off the coast of Florida.

He's my senator too, and I wish the guy were truly silent.

What if the Republican party hadn't made a left?

They really didn't move left. In fact, they didn't even have a very good grassroots effort the last time around. Mehlman was the first one to concede that, the day after the election.

I'm with you, but what do we do now?

Let the RNC know how you feel. The Republican Party has completely lost their mind.

The RNC can stop sending me their junk mail.

Good luck!
The California GOP managed to get a mailing address for me even when
I fled Mexifornia.
For the middle of Missouri!

My family said "How did they manage to find you?".

I said "Maybe Art Bell is right about those RFID chips being implanted
without people's knowledge!".

Ok, why were Specter and Chaffee supported?
Yes, I know Specter was last time around.

Why are you worried about that? The vote is over, they're not the winners.

I don't think he's a good choice, at least when it comes to serving as the party spokesman, because he's a sitting Senator. But given all of the positioning going on for 2008 I'm not sure that there can be any one voice. Most of his work (money raising, grass root organization and the like) will be behind the scenes anyway.

Yep. There's no excuse for the voters supporting Chaffee and Specter in the primaries when there were more conservative candidates.

BTW, Specter did win instead of a Conservative.
Do you support the back stabbing Specter has done to Bush?

I do not.

I've already addressed the question. You already know my views on third parties. Until you can show me a third party that isn't made up of a bunch of conspiracy kooks who are twice my age, I might seriously look into them.

The RNC supported them over Conservative challengers as well.

I could care less about Specter these days. There's plenty of backstabbers here at FR to worry about.

Conservatives (more Conservative in Chaffe's case) were running against these 2.
I'm not talking 3rd party here.
