I think we've been coopted by liberals who jumped off the commie-socialist-democrat party and joined the repubs.

Do what I did.
I mailed them back coupon junk mail that I had received.
Took a while but they finally quit.

Why didn't Rudy run against her? Many people on this thread think that running RINOs will lead to victories in blue states.
Mr. Giuliani apparently thought otherwise, at least in 2006.

Why didn't Rudy run against her?Why don't you ask him. Unlike you, I'm not going to pretend I know.

I guess we have our differing opinions. You keep wasting your votes and, now, I'll start wasting mine.

Does this mean that amnesty for illegals will get crammed down our throats whether we like it or not? That's my (rather cynical) expectation at this point. When an issue like amnesty has such overwhelming public opposition (on the order of 80%), and politicians still insist on doing what ever they please anyway... Well, "government of, by and for the people" is becoming a distant memory.

We need to draft Haley Barbour to run for the POTUSA!
The only well known Republican that can be elected so far.
A big plus is he said he did not want to run so he is not just power hungry.

If you are talking about the N.Y. Senate race in '06, then you have no concept of how politics works; NONE!
Rudy is going to run for president. He knew this months ago. For him to run against Hillary and having won, WHICH HE WOULD HAVE DONE and then, turn right around and said that he was running for president, would not only have looked TERRIBLE, but unethical and stupid!
It's one thing for Hillary, or any other sitting Senator to run for reelection, when everyone knows that she/they have no intent to do anything else, but run for president, but quite another thing, entirely, for someone NOT an incumbent to do that.
Your knowledge and understanding of politics is sorely lacking; as are you ability to think rationally and logically.

Reagan won in blue states, because the entire nation was disgusted with Jimmy Carter! Just about ANY GOP candidate would have beaten Jimmy, in 1980.

BUMP and thank you. Saved me the time and saved FR the font and bandwidth I would have used replying to the dual forum poster, who, (I am told), regularly trashes us and FR on another forum. Dead bang give away word "harpie."

By November '08 you won't even be able to SEE George DoubleU Bush any more. He'll have shrunk to the point where all you can see is this: *

I've tried everything to get off their mailing list with no success. Maybe marking their mail "return to sender" would do the trick. Mehlman never listened to what we had to say anymore than W does. Just send them these:
Maybe they'll get the message.
I donate my money and my time to worthy conservative Republican candidates. The RNC spends their time sabotaging them. The RNC will get nothing from me until they start supporting the actual platform of the Republican Party.

Maybe, but you could better answer your question. Do you? Would you vote for Rudy?

You really should read more and post less; that way, you will get some idea to whom you are replying.
Just how much "dealing" have YOU in politics?
To: onyx

That is NOT an answer and having been a member of FR for as long as you have, you should know that! You should also know that the owner of this forum frowns on posting what you have just posted.

Mrs. Barbour has said "no" and I know he loves his wife. I wonder if she'd say "no" to the VP spot? I think I know which GOP front runner is aiming to ask Haley, but time will tell. The first primary is still months away, right?
