The point is that the Globe checked and high-lighted metro-boy as a slacker. They did the research, printed what they found and it went unchallenged. You saying that lots of guys give without fanfare may be so but the research shows that your hero isn't one of them.

The Globe has had it in for Brady ever since he accepted W's invitation to the State of the Union address, he only further raised their ire when he told ketchup boy to recant his statement that Brady was somehow going to be involved with his white house run.
The Globe, (subsidiary of the NY Times), hates Tom Brady and Ron Borgess hate Bill Belichick so take whatever they print about either of them with a grain of salt.

BTW, I just googled "Tom Brady Charity" and got 850,000 hits.
True, the Globe's article is at the top of the list, the article says that few charity deductions appear on his tax records.
Also if you look at the other hits, for the first eleven pages, it's all about Brady attending charity events, and donating personal memorabilia to charity auctions.
I don't like to be accusatory, but I must say that you were less than honest with your postings.
