Millions of years of climate change

Come, come, now. 150 years of meteoralogical records trump 4 billion years of Earth history. So say the libs.

(And for anyone who thinks Earth is only 6000 years old, bite me.)

It's also why the 500+ years of weather records held by the Hermitage in St Petersburg Russia have been locked up tighter than a bulls butt in a cold wind - bet you can guess why, too.

There aren't even 150 years of reliable date, for the love of God! Prior to about 1960 temperatures were collected at limited locations and prior to 1900, I don't trust the methods of collecting it. 70% of this planet is covered with water and no one really collected weather data on it until the US Navy started it. Before the Cold War most navies were patrolling shipping lanes, a small part of the oceans. And prior to nuclear powered ships, hardly anyone took the time to go sail around the middle of the Pacific Ocean and take its temperature.
