Herbook deal apparently blew up becasue the CIA nixed a lot of what she wanted to write about, so she is looking for a handout. She quit, she was not fired, so too too bad. If she gets this, then darnit, every civil servant should/could quite their job with the fed government and ask for pay anyway.

Do not miss this, and, in particular, Inslee's complete misrepresentation of the events that led to Ms. Plame leaving the CIA.

Exactly!

:snip:

"On January 9, 2006, Mrs. Plame Wilson resigned from the CIA, recognizing that any future with the Agency would not include any work for which she had been highly trained."

For the last and final time - that _itch, Valerie Plame was never, ever covert.

Could they all stop aiding and abetting this women who's husband was a publicity-seeking hound and sought to make something of her vapid vacuous career.

Now WE are supposed to pay for her retirement despite the fact taht she didn't earn it? Oh puhleeeeeeeeeese.

Well, give me one while you are at.

I'M waiting For Mrs. Clintoon to introduce a similar bill for the WH travel office staff who had their careers ended abruptly.

Why couldn't she just keep on doing the job she was doing?

NO REASON.

We're already funding her pension. This moron wants her to be able to start collecting money now without any penalties for early retirement.

In other words she'd be collecting more money that she should based on her years of service.

He's simply suggesting the government pay her an extra $21,541.00 from now until she reaches retirement age.

This is in addition to the pension she will receive when she reaches retirement age.

Interesting that after Col North testified before Congress they attempted to pull his pension.

As a matter of fact John Kerry voted to have his pension revoked.

WTF? Mr. Inslee must have his head where the sun don't shine. The Administration did not "out" this woman and he damn well knows it. Will there be a Pub, with a set, who will stop this nonsense?

This is complete and utter BS... I suppose our 80 or so RINO's will vote with the dems for this???

Probably so. I swear to GOD, this is already turning into the worst (censored badword) Congress I've ever seen. Every day they're in session is another day your property is at risk.

What a damn con game:

He parades his prized trophy CIA wife around DC, then after enough people know about her and he opens his stupid yap about yellowcake, her position is "discovered" .. for all intents and purposes ... provoked by HIM.

And now that causes US .. we the people ... to fork over her pension $$ EARLY to her because she's been SO harmed (and because he's such a fool that he can't get a decent job, except speaking to podunk Rotary Clubs ...)

And, oh yeah .. it's all Bush's fault. Cute.
