SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP)--With only a slim, two-year record in the U.S. Senate, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama doesn't have many controversial congressional votes which political opponents can frame into attack ads.
But his eight years as an Illinois state senator are sprinkled with potentially explosive land mines.

Sick. Twisted. Disgusting.
And I'll tell you this: If freepers don't get back to activism and stop fighting about every single GOP presidential candidate whose name even comes up in casual conversation, we're going to have a Democrat controlled Congress and White House.
Freepers can start by mailing this to their e-mail friends and the media.
I mean to say: A good article to post; thank you for taking the time to do it.

Wonder who found all this info?
[Can we say Clinton Politican Machine?]
Welcome to the big leagues, OsamaObama. And you thought big ears was your only problem.
What a POS.
How could any decent human being be against this?
Yes, it offers ammunition for critics outside the Democratic Party, and it should be used mercilessly if Obama is on the ticket. Who in the Democratic Party can argue with his record? It's the perfect pedigree for a Democratic candidate.
Just another baby murdering, socialist. The country is infested with them.
I was told that we couldn't post any Dow Jones stuff.
Also, how about Bloomberg articles?
I have a lot of access to both.
Here's a list:

Well, DJ is one there.
I've had stuff pulled in the past.
Mod probably doesn't like you.
You mean, it will continue as it is? We might as well have a Democrat running the country. Since Bush is officially Republican, he cannot be criticized. Bush is a reason, but not the only reason, why the GOP lost two houses in the same election.
I will vote for and support a genuine conservative. At this time I cannot give to the national GOP. I am too disgusted.
I support the troops, an increase in the troops, and the War on Terror.
What the heck are you talking about? Bush is the most pro life president we've ever had in the White House. You are officially insane.
I agree with you. Bush appointed two S.C. Justices that are outstanding.
He's pulled some liberal crap but those two Judges define his Presidency.
Agreed.
Bush has done some things I don't like, but I understand he's president of all the people, not just Republicans. I detest his Medicare prescription plan and said so many times when he signed that crappy piece of legislation. Same with the campaign finance bill.
It's funny -- around here, I either get called a Bush-bot, because I'm such a big supporter, or the 2-3 times a year he does something I don't like and I post that, I get yelled at by the Bush-bots. You can't win for losing on Free Republic lately.
We've gotten very, very far away from activism and these single issue voters are half nuts.
I wrote about this following the convention in Boston. It was about Live Birth Abortions being performed at Christ Church Hospital (owned by the UUC) in Oak Lawn Il. One of the nurse testified for the Born Alive Infants Act in Washington that some of the babies would gasp for air for eight hours until they died from "medical neglect". The attending doctors would have to issue Birth and Death Certificates thus acknowledging that the babies once had lived.
Oh really? Yes, W. is pro-life compared to others, like his father, who was on the Planned Parenthood board. (Goldwater was on a Planned Parenthood board, too, approving of his daughter's abortion.) Clinton - no contest. Reagan really spoke out for the unborn.
Bush nominated his crony Harriet Myers to be a Supreme Court justice. She called pro-life demonstrators "terrorists," suggesting she is both illiterate and pro-abortion.
You might learn to disagree without name-calling.
Reagan was pro choice earlier in his life. Bush is the most staunch defender of the unborn that we've ever had in the presidency. Ever.
What did Reagan do against partial birth abortion? Nothing. Nada. Zip.
And I still think you're insane to complain about the one issue that Bush is perfect on. Some of you just aren't happy about anyone or anything and just love to carp.
